Felicity Jones Talks Future As Spider-Man's BLACK CAT

For some unexplained reason, it wasn't revealed until after The Amazing Spider-Man 2's release that the Academy Award-nominated Felicity Jones had actually played the famous Felicia Hardy a.k.a. the Black Cat. Anyways.. come check it out as she talks about her future as the Black Cat!

As of right now, what happens with the Spider-Man franchise is one of the biggest mysteries in the CBM universe. With old rumors getting debunked and new rumors seemingly popping up every few days, it's probably safe to say Sony knows as little as we do about which direction they ultimately plan on taking Marvel's flagship hero. Do they stay the course with the planned Sinister Six film? Or do they let Marvel Studios come in and help them bring the beloved hero back to elite film status. If I were a betting man, I'd say Sony does end up working out a hefty deal with Marvel that allows Spidey to cameo in Captain America: Civil War followed with a starring role in both parts of Avengers: Infinity War. However, I'm not running the franchise, at least not yet, so for right now we'll all have to patiently wait and see what Sony actually ends up doing with Marvel's most profitable hero.

Even though the status of the Spider-Man franchise is uncertain at best following The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which despite grossing over $708M at the box office was a critical and commercial disappointment, it hasn't stopped reporters from grilling actors from the latest installment about their futures in the franchise. Clevver Movies had a few moments to chat with the Academy Award-nominated Felicity Jones and managed to ask her about her future in the Spider-Man franchise and whether or not we'll actually get to see her don the black leather. Check her out in the video below:

What do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts below!

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features:
Director: Marc Webb
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn
Sally Field as May Parker
Campbell Scott as Richard Parker
Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker
Colm Feore as Donald Menken
Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino
Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn
Marton Csokas as Dr.Kafka
B.J. Novak as Alistair Smythe
Martin Sheen as Ben Parker
Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson
Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy
Felicity Jones as Felicia Hardy

She needs to take a page out of Emma Stone's playbook, who's doing a phenomenal job rehabilitating her career after TASM 2.

People barely remember Felicity's in TASM 2. She should be thankful and run with that.

She can refuse this easily,if she isn't committed to a multiple picture deal. She is nominated fore a goddamn Oscar and was nominated fore a golden globe. If sony will frick up the rights even more that they have from the spidy universe. It will be better that she abandons the sinking ship
