Episode #43: “High Sparrow”: In Braavos, Arya sees the Many-Faced God. In King’s Landing, Queen Margaery enjoys her new husband. Tyrion and Varys walk the Long Bridge of Volantis. (Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Mark Mylod.) (TV-MA) [AC, AL, GV, N] ESP Playdates: 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Finally this article is up. Okay, this season so far, is so boring. There's top many characters they have to follow to make any story go anywhere. If I want able to binge watch the first 4 seasons I would have quit. I'm going this season gets better but holy hell, there is little payoff to the story lines.

@ckal it's just that, everyone has been basically doing the SAME THING since the rob stark was murdered. Their all just walking around, extras get murdered, my favorite characters, get the least screen time, besides Dinklidge, bc the only characters I can stand to watch are all the minor characters besides the hound and peter. Is the hound dead? Or are they going to answer that, bc if that's the last we saw of him, that's lame. The others i like are Danys old advisor that was banished, and the dude who trained Jamie how to fight again. That's about it.

All I kept thinking about, in the ending, were those two shots of Superman in the new BvS trailer where all the people were reaching out to him. He is the new Mhysa! Lol.

I know it's an old storyline but I've always wondered about this so humor me. Why did Robb agree to marry the Frey girl? He commanded the Northern and Riverland armies. He should have said to Frey "Oh, so you're not going to answer my call to arms unless I marry your homely daughter? That's treason you know. So here's the deal. You let us use your bridge and send your 4,00 men to join us OR, OR I march my army of 90,000(or whatever) right over and destroy everything you hold dear. How about that?" Anyone? Why?

@cplhicks

Robb couldn't have marched on the freys, for numerous reasons. He agreed to marry her so walder Frey would allow the army Passage. Pretty simple actually.

@ckal

I think @misterholmes was referring to Sir Jorah Mormont. Who I would agree is a badass character, and I can't wait for his return.

I haven't read the books yet, but I'm assuming that Varys and Tyrion will bring Jorah back to Dany, and Varys will explain that Jorah was reporting to him. With Varys being loyal to Dany, that should placate her.
