NBA Star Carmelo Anthony Set To Cameo In TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2
After a miserable season that was cut short by a knee injury, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has seemingly bounced back with a cameo role in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel! Come check him out on set with co-stars Will Arnett & Alessandra Ambrosio!
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is the latest NBA star to join the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
Anthony was spotted on set last Wednesday in Brooklyn shooting a scene with co-stars Will Arnett (Arrested Development) and Alessandra Ambrosio (Casino Royale). Details of the scene in question are up in the air, but it looks like it may have been some sort of formal party as Arnett and Ambrosio were also spotted dressed up. Co-stars Megan Fox (Transformers) and Stephen Amell (Arrow) were also reportedly on set, but weren't a part of the scene.
Melo will be the sixth NBA star to film a scene. Los Angeles Clippers stars J.J. Redick, DeAndre Jordan, Matt Barnes, Austin Rivers, and Spencer Hawes finished filming their cameos in late March. In a podcast with Grantland's Zach Lowe, the prolific sharpshooter Redick also let it slip that the upcoming sequel may be titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell.

The film also features the returns of Alan Ritchson (Blue Mountain State), Noel Fisher (Shameless), Pete Ploszek (Parks & Recreation), and Jeremy Howard (Accepted) as the Turtles. William Fichtner is also expected to return. Michael Bay (Transformers) is back on as producer, but this time Dave Green (Earth to Echo) will be helming with a script from Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is expected to hit theaters June 3, 2016
