Why though?

Even the books are terrible. They're so poorly written and they make literally no sense. Why would you base films off of them?

Man, I won't watch this one even harder than I didn't watch the first one.

@NovaCorpsFan seriously? that's the point of those books, to make no sense.

The last one somehow made over a billion dollars so your damn right they are making a sequel no matter how bad the movie was. Just ask Bay on making sequels for shit movies.

I liked the first one but it tv doesn't hold a candle to the animated one. Tim Burton really disappointed.

Hope this one's better.

I'm still baffled as to how the last one made 1billion

And after reading them, I considered them shit.

That's not illegal or anything, right?

Alice in Wonderland is a story about tripping your balls off written by a pedophile. In other words, McGee gives his stamp of approval.

The books made no sense cause the author was high on homemade ecstasy the whole time.

Either this or X-Men will have to move from that weekend since they both can't open to over $100 million the way schedule is now.

Its funny that no one knew this was coming. They finished filming it almost a year ago so they've had a really long time in post.

[frick].... its bad enough having Guy Ritchie turn great subtle british stories into dumb american action films but this is too [frick]ing much...

I enjoyed the first one (on dvd) and even own it. Not because its outstanding film making, but because its weird and [frick]ed up and provides surreal escapism.

But six years for a sequel to a billion dollar film? I would think that's pushing audience interest a little, but I'll probably see this one in the theater. With a little sauce in tow to enhance the experience.

i watched the first one like 4 to 5 years ago and i cringed ... There was Tim Burton style but the soul of this movie was taken by Disney ... Once Johny Depp started to dance i cringed even more ...

Doopie@ Love that book. Bryan Talbot's awesome. Met him a few times. Good guy.
Also did y'all know it's the 150th anniversary of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, this year? No? Well, you do now.

Not another one! Why on God's green earth would Disney think we wanted another one? And just watch this one make another billion dollars. Ugh…humanity.

^ Nah, I just found the last movie to be a bit too bizarre for my tastes, plus, I loathe Johnny Depp with a passion so that didn't help my opinion of the film.

Funny that people blame Disney for Tim Burton doing a paycheck film. Blame Tim Burton, the guy has been doing paycheck, phoned in directing for 20 years now. Do you think Planet of the Apes wasn't a paycheck film?

Behold all ye fans of marvel studios, for this is the fruit of Disney, your mother company. While i am an avid collector and fan of marvel comics, its movies like this one that remind me of my disgust for the Disney tainted marvel movies. What with the weak thors and watered-down hulks, imagine Deadpool being developed by Disney, or even blade 2.i guess marvel leasing out the rights of some of its characters was a blessing in disguise.

At least they are keeping with the same actors. Cant stand when they recast for movies and try to play them off as the same person
