Am I the only one who thinks this movie was overrated? I mean it was okay, but nothing spectacular.

If you don't understand then think about it this way. What other Live action Dinosaur movie has came out that isn't Jurassic Park. Its an Event film much like POTC. If your the only one in that genre being successful there isn't much you can choose from for the audience. It also doesn't hurt having Jurassic Park be related to your movie.

@BlackStar25

I guess that's likely true. Wouldn't have imagined the desire for a big budget dinosaur movie to be that drastic, but people seemed to really have wanted one. I'm not complaining, Chris Pratt is now officially a star! :)
