Two New DEADPOOL Trailers & An IMAX Teaser Get Classified Just In Time For The Holidays
X-Men: Apocalypse had its fun yesterday, but Deadpool is gearing up to steal Christmas sometime very soon. Two - likely one Red Band & one theatrical - trailers have just been classified for the Merc with a Mouth's feature film debut. Plus an IMAX teaser. Come check it out!
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why... *cue record scratch sound effect* - Deadpool is coming to town!
After an extended wait (and a handful of viral shenanigans), the second official trailer for 20th Century Fox's Deadpool is finally on its way. The ever reliable Alberta Film Ratings website has classified a "trailer D," a red band "trailer E," and an IMAX teaser trailer for the upcoming Ryan Reynolds-starrer. Check it out below:
For comparison's sake, the first official trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse was rated on December 2 before making its epic debut yesterday, so expect to see the new Deadpool trailer online within the next ten or so days, if not sooner. The 27-second IMAX teaser trailer, however, has been confirmed to screen exclusively ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in IMAX theaters starting Friday. Also, a couple weeks back, producer/writer Simon Kinberg hinted that Reynolds was working on another viral project to set the internet on fire, so expect to see something in the same vein as Deadpool's Halloween surprise fairly soon as well.
On a side note, the first teaser trailers for both Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them & Star Trek: Beyond have also been classified. The Fantastic Beasts teaser will run 1:45 and the Star Trek teaser clocks in at 1:25.
