UPDATE: Possible Leaked Photo & GIF For An Upcoming Superman Video Game

For years, fans have been hoping to see a Superman game. While we know WB Games Montreal is developing a new DC game, could it be a Superman game we've all been hoping for? Take it with a grain of salt and click to check it out.

Now it's fair to say DC in general pretty much sucked in video games before Batman: Arkham Asylum. There were a couple decent games but there was mostly garbage thanks to games like Superman 64, Batman: Dark Tomorrow, Aquaman: Battle For Atlantis, and more. Since Rocksteady's 2009 smash hit, Batman: Arkham Asylum, DC has been getting it's act together in the video game world while Marvel can't get their crap together. With DC having the Batman: Arkham series and Injustice: Gods Among Us with all the games getting critically acclaimed, it seems they may add a new franchise. Now that DC is done with the Batman: Arkham series, fans are hoping DC looks at Superman for the next DC game series. Now this leaked photo comes from the tumblr page called "Daily Superheroes" and was reported by CabooseXBL. We have no confirmation if it's official or fan made. Basically it's a leaked bio of Superman with the New 52 suit.


Update: thanks to @Gprez2020 & @manhunter212 in the comments, there is a gif that clearly shows Superman moving in the gif proving that it is not a photoshopped image. The gif is said to have been found on the Batman: Arkham Knight forums here.


Now again, we can't be sure if the original source is entirely reliable but we've seen legit stuff come from lesser sources. We do know WB Games Montreal is currently working on a DC game. I don't play infinite crisis but I sure hope this is real. The only thing that makes me doubt it is the font they used for the description. You would think for a superman game they would make it more serious

WB Montreal was created to do DC games. It's on their site that the primary focus of their studios is DC video games.

@mrjillymcbeam Can you even call Marvel Heroes a MMO? Putting a Marvel skin on Diablo and throwing a few extra players in doesn't really make for an MMO if you ask me.

I'd say it looks like Injustice, but the whole comic book text doesn't appear there, nor in Infinite Crisis, or anywhere I can think of in a modern video game. Possibly photoshop.

It looks like it could be legit. Idk. Arkham Knight was filled with Superman easter eggs, and a few other leaguers as well.

A JL game would be even better than a Superman standalone.

Which brings up something else. Will BvS have any sort of tie in?

This is fake. That model is the exact same as the New 52 Injustice, down to the belt details and the hair. Not sure why anyone would make a fake that obvious.

What good superhero games are there besides the Batman and Spiderman games? All other attempts have been terrible

i dont get it either...you'd think superheroes and videogames would blend together pretty easily

WB Montreal recruited whole bunch latelt, whatever is the project, two things are sure, it's huge and based on DC Comics. My prediction is Suicide Squad game.

That's Superman from Infinite Crisis and the font is that garbage ass Comic Sans font.... If not it's close to Comic Sans, just that alone can tell you this is a fake. Games stopped using those types of awful fonts way back in 2003

Marvel is too busy making [frick]ing mobile games and garbage. While the Telltale games may be good, they won't come anywhere close to the Arkham games. Telltale doesn't do open world stuff. Not their style.
