So Just How Much Would All That Destruction In MAN OF STEEL To Metropolis Cost?

As we all saw in Man of Steel, Metropolis pretty much got destroyed. It was like a war zone in that city. So in order to rebuild it, how much would Lex (oh like we don't know who will rebuild it?) have to pay to rebuild the city? Could it been more than what the Avengers did to NYC? Click to find out.

Ok as we all so, Metropolis was just about destroyed from Zod's weapon and also Superman vs Zod.It also destroyed and we all now it's highly likely Lex Luthor will be the one to rebuild the city. So how much should Lex make this check out towards? Let's ask scientist and "disaster expert" Charles Watson and his Watson Technical Consulting outfit have attempted to answer the question both in terms of the human toll Metropolis paid as well as the financial cost. We have this nice little poster of all the findings and info about how much damage was done. Let's take a look at that:

Yikes. Lex will likely have to put in some calls to Bruce Wayne & Oliver Queen to see if they will donate some money toward rebuilding Metropolis. What are your thoughts? hopefully there like mine where Superman has a speed race with Flash for charity. Comment below. Peace and remember...

Man of Steel follows the Last Son of Krypton on his epic journey to become mankind's shinning beacon of hope for a brighter future. With the beliefs and values instilled by his adoptive parents Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane) Kent, a young Clark (Henry Cavill) sets out to find his place in the world. But when the nefarious General Zodd (Michael Shannon) arrives on Earth, Clark will have to choose between being a normal human or Kal-el,son of Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and humanity's greatest protector and champion. Filmed in IMAX and shot in Vancouver, Chicago and Plano, Illinois, Man of Steel will be released on June 14, 2013 by Warner Bros. Directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) with a screenplay by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) the Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception) produced feature film will surely be the summer blockbuster of 2013.

Even if supes helped with the rebuild, the amount of world charity needed would be crazy.....realistically it would become a ghost town

I'm sure if Bruce Wayne has the money for a Watchtower, he can chip in and help rebuild Metropolis.

Superman would help rebuild the city and clean up. That's probably what is going to happen in the sequel.

If rebuilding is still needed in the sequel, I want Bruce Wayne to pitch in with Lex Luthor, since he doesn't know anything about him yet other than he's rich. And have Bruce investigste as batman, finding Superman discovering Lex's true intentions. WORLD'S FINEST in short.
SecNotSure
SecNotSure - 6/17/2013, 11:13 PM
Hence why Superman needs the JL. His strategy causes way too much collateral damage on his own... If you can even call that strategy haha. Sure he stopped the threat on his own, but that is a lot of death and destruction. Ridiculous. Makes me wonder if the majority of the survivors, and populace of the world, would be more skeptical of his actions and hold him accountable.

Metropolis didnt get destroyed...the little part of the huge city that got hit by the World Engine got destroyed. Everyting else was still there. You could see them fight in the rest of the city. and there was nothing.

Hey guys the thing I don't like most about this movie is he puts on glasses and no one knows him what do you think if they changed this up and had him seek out help and find Zatana to cast a spell so no one will recognize him . To me that would be a better way to handle it .
