When word of multiplayer would come to
Batman: Arkham Origins arrived, most fans weren't happy with it. Mostly due to the fact the Arkham games have been focused on the single player experience. In today's gaming world, most companies try to put multiplayer in their games even if it's unnecessary. When the multiplayer trailer for
Batman: Arkham Origins hit, most fans were impressed. It's set up as a 3 on 3 on 2 experience. 3 people play under Joker's Gang, 3 under Bane's Gang, and 2 play as the Dynamic Duo themselves. As one can tell you, trailers at times lie. How does the multiplayer look and feel while playing? Well a couple weeks ago, WB Montreal gave out private beta codes to emails to test out the multiplayer in
Batman: Arkham Origins. I didn't get one but nevertheless, many did and some uploaded them playing the beta on Youtube. Here is a look at what the multiplayer looks like in
Batman: Arkham Origins:

As you can see, it seems that the gameplay style as a henchmen seems too have been influenced by
Gears of War.
Gears of War is the most well known shooter based game to have the third person behind the back camera and also the duck and cover in your environment. Hopefully because
Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel, it doesn't disappoint like
Gears of War: Judgment did.
Also many of the Skins from
Batman: Arkham City return in this Multiplayer mode. There have been videos of Batman in his Sinestro Corps, Earth One, and Batman INC suits along with his
Arkham Origins suit. There are some Robin suits that return like the Red Robin suit and the
Batman: The Animated Series skin. I did find that there is a Robin skin that wasn't in
Arkham City. It looked as if it is a Jim Lee designed Tim Drake Robin skin. Maybe we will also have a Jim Lee designed Batman skin too. What are your thoughts on the
Batman: Arkham Origins? Love it? Hate it?
The events of Arkham Origins are set several years before Batman: Arkham Asylum, in the middle of winter in fictional Gotham City. Batman is an experienced crime-fighter, but has not yet become the veteran superhero portrayed in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. He remains a mysterious force with even the police unsure if he is a vigilante, a myth or supernatural. Batman has battled with normal criminals and gangsters and is used to being stronger and faster than his targets, but on a snowy Christmas eve he is confronted with far more dangerous enemies: super villains tasked with killing Batman. The sadistic and brutal Black Mask has placed a bounty on the superhero, and Batman must discover why the villain harbors a deep hatred for him.
