MORTAL KOMBAT Director Teases Upcoming Fight Match-Ups

Want to know what's happening with the mysterious MK film? Director Kevin Tancharoen has revealed a few pages of the script which reveal a few of the fight match-ups you can expect to see when the film is released.

Today on Kevin Tancharoen's twitter account, many hungry fans were treated to some minor tidbits of scenes we can expect to see in the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot!

The scenes involve Jax, Kabal, Scorpion and Sub-Zero.



A Jax vs. Kabal fight? Sounds like it to me!

If in case it did not load here's what it says:

Jax- "Playtime's over"

Kabal- "Captain Briggs" (looks around)

Note: One of them is covered in blood. No confirmation on who.

Next up we have the ninjas!



(With a hint of spite in his voice)

Scorpion- "Sub-Zero..."

SUB-ZERO nods, then gets to work

I'm gonna take that mid-fight one-liner as a sign of things to come. Tghis movie will be very disposable and there's no point remaking the original. It's one of the few good Video Game live-action adaptations.

@duke, i miss those days, idk how old u are but I'm 29 when mk first came out on home systems it was so huge and so demanded as a kid. It was hush hush cuz you didn't want your parents to know what the game was really about. It was like finding nudie mags haha. That was such a great feeling of excitement back then. Than mk2 took it to an entire new level! Wow I'm getting old hha

Hahaha remember the trailers for it, the kid yelling mortal kombat in the middle of the street. Classic. I'm gonna play it when I get home now

PLEASE DON'T SUCK! Blood and gore is very needed in a MK movie but there is more to it as well! Make it out if this world, not like us humans here on earth. That's why we watch movies so we can escape for an one or two hours.

Any further development on this is strongly welcomed...Zero-Vs. Scor is a given...but Jax vs Kabal sounds interesting...I hope Kenshi is shown as well...I could see Jax, Sonya, Stryker & Kenshi vs Kano, Kabal, Kobra, & Kira up on the big screen in one 20 min show-down, it would be awesome!!..it's great that the same director is still attached...a same that none of the actors from the mini-series will be returning...would have loved to follow their decent into the Mortal Kombat Tournament...except Ryan...for the love of god, please replace her!!..

I am still beyond furious at the new premise and I am STILL.... working on a fanmade MK script. But these little teases bring back very little, but still bring back some hope I had for the reboot.

Warner Bros. please.... what ever you do DON'T destroy the reboot film of my all time favorite video game and video game franchise of all time.
