This from TheHDRroom:

"Lucasfilm and the Cartoon Network have announced the first of 22 new Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 3 episodes will premiere Friday, September 17 at 9 pm."

And here is the Official Synopsis:

"Mystery, intrigue and adventure await our heroes with all-new action-packed episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. As war continues to rage throughout the galaxy, the dark side grows even stronger and the Jedi Knights are pushed to the breaking point. The lines between good and evil become blurred as secrets are revealed, truths are questioned and alliances are betrayed. Loyalties are tested as new enemies emerge and heroes rise – and fall.

In this transformative new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, surprises wait at every turn, the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance and the destiny of the “Chosen One” will at long last be uncovered. Thrilling, unpredictable and often humorous, the exciting new adventures of the Star Wars Saga will captivate fans of all ages."

Sounds mysterious yet familiar. I like the animation that is used in the Clone Wars and it is cool to bridge the gap and make sense out of what old 'Obi-Wan' said in Episode 4, which was: "I fought along side him in the Clone Wars" when referring to Luke's father. BUT, I really would like to see 'The Dark Empire' Comic Book series in an animated feature or Grand Admiral Thrawn's story in a three part epic animated feature. Or anything that happens after 'Return of the Jedi', I'm not alone, at least I don't think I am?

Check out the trailer for season 3 of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'!

I saw the movie and found it to be a disgrace to our people. I refuse to watch the show because it's probably even more disgraceful.

@Jman/Ozy: I want to see them remake the original 3.

Hopefully, this season will feature more Paul Dini-written episodes.

His have been by and far the best episodes of the series, and it's a little sad that they come so far apart.

@JJmeylar

The reason the movie wasn't that great is because it was the first 3 episodes of the series released as a movie.
As a movie it's sub-par but as an animated series it's groundbreaking. You should really give it a shot.

Booyah!! I'm stoked for this next season.

MoreBobaMoreBobaMoreBobaMoreBoba!!!

This show is rockin' and, as it pains me to say it, is coming close to being better than all of the prequels (of the three, ROTS was the best of them). More Asokha! More R2! More Kitt! More Plo! More Asajj! More Luminara!

...and, of course, MORE BOBA!!!
