Megan Gale was cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller's JLA. But the movie was iced. Do you think she still has what it takes to be Wonder Woman?


Jessica Biel


Jennifer Love Hewitt has expressed interest in playing Wonder Woman. But really, what actress would turn down this iconic role?


Bridget Regan seems to be a fan favorite.


Megan Fox is certainly hot enough, but does she have the acting chops and desire to play the role?


Morena Baccarin is kind of an unknown but she certainly has the looks for the Amazon goddess.


Nicole Scherzinger is on the unknown list as well but none the less has her name on the Wonder Woman possible cast list.


And just because I like Lee777 and Shamen, I give you Jodi Lynn O'Keefe!

Tera got added because I saw Lee's picture of her in the comments, and Oh Gad, She is SOOO fine! However I doubt she will get the role because of her past endeavors.


Kate is a no brainer. I should have had her up here before.

Gale looks the most like WW. I know Regan won the MTV fan poll but i have never seen her in anything..she does look the part. I had to go for Biel. She's a good actress and even if the doesn't look exactly like WW, she could be made to.

Well, I'm not against cross brand casting! So she could be WW too. She is the only one up there that has said she would love to do it and was actually going to play her in the Josh Whedon version.

I want Jodi Lynn O'keefe but she isn't even on the list. Awesome drawing Shaman, just awesome! She's 5'10" and in higher heels or lifts she would be very tall for Wonder Woman. With her black hair and blue eyes she looks like she walked right out of the comics, to me.

So from the list I voted for Bridget Regan. She is so sexy on "The Seeker" TV show it's painful! She just seems to ooze a kind of raw sensuality! My next choice would be Morena Baccarin. She has that Mediterranean type beauty that Wonder Woman is supposed to have.

Yeah im kinda not getting Jodie. She looks a bit scary sometimes. But i have never seen her except maybe 2 eps of Prison Break..didn't get any vibe from her acting one way or the other.

Back on topic. Shamen and Lee: Jodi's hot and all but I dont know about her as WonderWomen. Check out the first pic i have up there of WonderWomen and then look at Megan Gale. Man she damn near looks spot on. But I dont recall seing her acting skills, so I do not know if she has the chops to do it or not. Shes got the looks, for sure.

Again, Gale isn't a proven actress. O'Keefe is the closest to what we want. Ror, if O'Keefe is scary, isn't that to her benefit when we want WW to be scary (in a fight)? And if what Shaman says to be true (and he can usually back up what he says), throwing a credible punch and landing an effective kick to the head can only be delivered by a guy or woman that knows how to do so. No offence ladies, but when I watch women fight in other films, it seems so incredulous. That is just as an important in acting qualifications. We need to see that she has been "a warrior born". No "girlie" punches.

I think it is safe to say we ALL want Wonder Woman to play Wonder Woman. It is going to be a tough sell. Since we don't have an actress (that we know of) that fits ALL the qualifications to fill the WW bathing suit, we have to choose a woman that comes the closest in ALL ways. Can she act? Can she fight? Does she look at all like the comic book vision of WW? Anything else can be manipulated with Whollyweird "magic". The only person that comes close is O'Keefe.

LEEE- They draw them to NOT look alike cause they are often seen together. But they ARE supposed to look alike. SAME goes for Captain Marvel and Black Adam. Aside from elf ears and spock brows, they SHOULD be identical.

Roar- Yes, Jodi does have very ugly pictures of her. Not uglier than anything that can be found on Hewitt though. And as for the fan pic you posted of Biel as WW, her hair really contrasts too much with her skin. Sometimes, a certain hair color simply looks bad on someone and biel should never have black hair. It doesn't fit her at all.

HAWK- I wouldn't be opposed to Volante IF she could act and stop squinting for the love of Christ all mighty!!! I mean, honestly other than Hewitt, anyone of those women would be decent. As for the character's requirements though, O'Keefe is the best. That's the same argument i used for Jensen Ackles as Captain America and that's the same one i'll always use. I never "fan-cast" someone that doesn't have the most amount of requirements. If age wasn't an issue, Lucy Lawless would nail it!

I went to IMDb and only saw two films plus one in post production for Gale. While of O'Keefe has quite the resume. Granted, I have not seen her act. I confess. But if I were a gambling man, I'd put my money on the actress/kickboxer versus the model/aspiring actress trying to make a film career.

Look, I'm not sexist in the least, but doesn't anyone else think that female leading superhero movies are destined to fail? The general male population is never too excited about watching a female as the main hero and there isn't a large enough female fan base to make up for the rest. It would be different if there was a significant female market but there simply isn't. The only reason men would generally see this is for the sex appeal and most likely it will be rated PG-13, so honestly, where does that get you. I just personally think the studio should save it's money and prevent a flop from happening. And again, I'm not talking about female heroines in movies, I'm talking about female superheroes in movies.

If the story is treated seriously enough, and the story and characters developed along with the fighting, it would be a great blockbuster movie, not only because men would go watch TNA, but also because it wouldn't bore them. If they handled it like GI Joe, then yes, it would flop.

Harvey- I dont think that they are destined to fail but a lot of it has more to do with the script. With Catwoman they thought we could be distracted by seeing a woman wearing an outfit that looked like a kid took scissors to with a whip and not notice that they script was horrible. Elektra had a descent shot going in but the script was bad as well. Hopefully WW will be taken a lot more seriously because while we love to see hot girls wear next to nothing we also want to see a good developed movie. We are not idiots.

Kate Beckinsale was the female lead in Underworld, an action fantasy, much like superhero movies and that movie was excellent. It all depends on the writing and directing and acting to make it ultimately work.

Joshw24-Jodi would be a great Madame Masque. I cant stand Hewitt. I saw her in Vegas in that mall that is located near Planet Hollywood and she acted like an ass to people who asked for her autograph. I can understand when an actor or actress wants to do something normal every now and then but she was wearing this bright red dress with her hair pulled back. She wasnt trying to hide she was trying to stand out if you ask me.

Jessica Biel for me, I think you slap on some black hair she can have the look for it, I can see her dawning those gold bracelets. Though Megan Gale is damn close, I don't know much about her acting career it seems she can't get a break, and maybe for good reason.

But one plus for Fabiola is that she is passionate about the character, she knows that Wonder Woman is a strong, powerful character and would do everything in her power to create a performance true to the character.
