After british singer Adele won a Golden Globe, Brit Award and an Academy Award for the theme song of the 23rd Bond movie, Skyfall, it would come as no surprise that the Bond producers would want her back. Well, The Sun is reporting that Adele has signed with the franchise producers to perform the theme song for the next secret agent movie and "they hope she’ll go on to match 007 queen Dame Shirley Bassey." Shirley Bassey is the responsible for several Bond famous themes, such as Diamonds Are Forever, Mooraker and Goldfinger. According to sources of the site, "producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success" and "they want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley". As for right now, take this with a grain of salt, as an official statement from the Bond production has yet to be made.

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Studio: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
Now on DVD and Blu-Ray!
Cast: Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Javier Bardem
Director: Sam Mendes

I don't mind Mendes coming back to direct, Terrence Young and John Glen both directed numerous Bond movies, but I always looked forward to finding out who would sing the new theme so I kind of hope it's someone different.

Had no idea any other singer did more than a one and done for Bond songs. If the Broccoli's can get her to be synonymous w/ their franchise they would be very fortunate, indeed.

No, as good as it was I don't want her again. That's something I really look forward to. having a new artist do it. I say either Muse or Michael Buble.

Give her a break. Let Micheal Buble and Lana Del Rey do the next two and then Adele can have a second one.
