Okay so by adapting Ultimate Spider-Man, they have in fact, ignored all of the storylines, changed the 'Ultimate' versions of characters and generally just made stuff up.

I don't see how this is any closer to USM than Spectacular Spider-Man was.

Any other USM fans able to provide an answer?

I agree with @TheSpiderAssassin...Please is there anyway to permanently get rid of grif? Im tired of reporting him as an annoying wanker.

At-least give the show a try before you start criticizing. The damm thing hasnt even been aired yet. Aren't you not happy to get more comicbook related media?

I do how ever wish they drop the childish approach later on in the series and air some dark episodes!! I cant seem to take any show on "Disney" seriously

Maybe it's like in Spaceballs...he has the movie before it's even released." :)

That said, what is this, like the 5th or 6th Spider-man series in roughly a decade? I lost count. It's a shame that a company that has roughly 1,500 or so characters to do something with, Spidey gets 5 series in a decade while it took nearly a decade to get an Iron Man, Avengers or even a MArvel U series.
