Disney XD's Marvel programming block is about to receive two upcoming shows, Avengers Assemble and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. While Ultimate Spider-Man is still airing, Avengers Assemble has a confirmed release date of July 7, with a sneak peek airing on the 26th of May.
Meanwhile, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H has a premiere date of August 11th of this year.

More details:

The heroic lineup, which also includes Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow, is the same as the Avengers who assembled for Joss Whedon’s 2012 blockbuster, with the notable inclusion of one of Captain America’s oldest friends and partners, the Falcon.

A previous series, “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes,” offered glimpses of numerous Marvel characters, but “Avengers Assemble” marks the first time this lineup has appeared on a television show.

The series stars Adrian Pasdar as Iron Man, Roger Craig Smith as Captain America, Travis Willingham as Thor, Troy Baker as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson as Falcon, with Fred Tatasciore reprising his role as Hulk.

Man of Action Studios’ Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle (“Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man,” “Ben 10″) will serve as the series’ executive producers.

The new show was touted in a side story in one of Marvel’s offerings for Free Comic Book Day, “Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.,” which also happens to be the name of Disney XD’s new animated “Hulk” series.

That show is set to air Aug. 11

That's awesome!

It would be better with Thor, Hulk and Widow in the same position as the movie version... Iron Man without a helmet... Falcon where Fury is, rather than in the sky... and Stark Tower in the background. But considering that this is animated, it is really cool!

Also, Iron Man looks fat. Lol...

Personally I think that art style looks terrible. It harkens back to Ultimate Avengers, and mind you - I really didn't like that animation.

I do agree that Avengers EMH had extremely weird designs but at least they were emotive.

Shit poster, shit show. Bring back EMH. Just watched Ironman 3, it sucked. Why is it that everything is starting to suck since the Avengers movie?

Bring back EMH. Oh well, I like the cartoon poster better than the movie poster, probably even more than the movie... why? Because Thor HAS A HELMET!!! and while Hawkeye doesn't have a mask, at least he's got hints of purple in his outfit...

@Magnus

Yes...we should leave things be and they will fix themselves...Right lol The character roster ( while existing as a marketing tool) is not historically arbitrary but is largely the result of normalized cultural preferences that are rooted in vanilla preferences.

Is one n&@&@ per team too much? Or woman? Lol Heaven forbid if they put in any other minorities...it might be the end of the friggin world...hahahah

Race and gender biases and prejudices run deep whether we realize it or are willing to admit lol bwahaha

But if studios want to increase their audiences (sales revenue) they are going to eventually have to appeal to a wide range of people and experiences.

On the other hand, there is always going to be people that will be up in arms...that's something hahaha? Lol

I suppose one can either Roll with it or get left behind

@otakupai

They might be saving him for a cartoon preluding his appearance in one of the phases of the live action film.

On the other hand, it is possible that there is a unofficial one n!**@ at a time clause that prohibits him from sharing screen time with falcon and the rest of the avengers lmao

Smh lol

Animation looks bad. Could care less about "Falcon" or whoever that bird dude is. Should have kept EMH on and just added him to the team in season 3
