With Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy now just two weeks from gracing the silver-screen, the official cast listing has been released via Stitch Kingdom. They finally reveal not only who both Nathan Fillion and Stan Lee will portray in the film, but also previously unknown camoes. Plus, there's a rather odd reference to a certain Marvel bird. Check them out with a mild spoiler warning!

Otherwise, here’s what we’ve learned: Stan Lee will have his customary cameo, this time as the ‘Xandarian Ladies’ Man;’ browncoat favorite Nathan Fillion will be dolled up as ‘Monstrous Inmate;’ musician Rob Zombie lends his voice as the ‘Ravager Navigator Voice;’ and writer/director James Gunn himself will appear in the film as one of the ‘Maskless Sakaaran.’ Howard the Duck is somewhere to be found in the film. This inference comes from a line in the end titles that credits co-creators Steve Gerber and Val Mayerik. Also in the film, though not a cameo, is actor Fred the dog who assumes the role of Cosmo.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

Considering the amount there supposedly is in this movie, four cameo reveals is nothing.

James Gunn said like 3 times that Fillion wouldn't play any real character and Lee's cameo sounds like his Ironman cameo.

@McNyaGano- What is Rocket exactly? He looks like a racoon but people say he isn't? Why does he look that way? Did he originally start off as a racoon before they experimented on him? I'm guessing there are other raccoon like creatures out in the galaxy besides earth? I'm so confused.. And I don't know anything when it comes to guardians

"Nathan Fillion will be dolled up as ‘Monstrous Inmate;’"

Thank you. As I said from the beginning, you don't have to watch the end credits to see him, but to find out who he played, like Fillion said all along.
