James McAvoy To Finally Go Bald For 'Professor X' Role In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

With X-Men: Apocalypse set in the '80s, actor James McAvoy tells the Huffington Post that he will most likely lose his hair when he returns as Charles Xavier in the 2016 X-Men: Days of Future Past follow-up!

"I'll be older in this one," James McAvoy said of X-Men: Apocalypse, in which he will return as Charles Xavier. "[And] I think I'm losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that's kind of all I know." He continued, "I got an email from the [producer/writer Simon Kinberg] who informed me he was getting dead excited about stuff, but he didn't want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks, so I really don't know. It does seem fairly global, if we're talking apocalypse. Maybe it's just the character's name, but I think the nature of the film is going to be fairly apocalyptic."

Starring Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence (among others), X-Men: Apocalypse is expected to be directed by Bryan Singer and is set for release May 27, 2016.

Once his powers were fully restored and then subsequently enhanced (and controlled), his head didn't have room for hair AND superpowers...so one had to make way for the other.

Viola.

I wonder when the family history of hair loss is going to finally catch up with me and rob me of my sexiness.

I hope I have at least another 25 years to keep it. Whatever, booze helps.

I know, Gus. It'll suck major shit when it happens.

I've got hair down to my chest by now. It's one of the things my girlfriend loves, but it's going to probably go in another few decades. Well, so long as my liver limps on, it'll be fine.

I just watched Trance a few days ago. I really like McAvoy as an actor. Plus, Rosario Dawson full frontal was pleasant.

great, now only if we could get Lex Luthor to be bald GOD DAMMIT

P.S. this guy doesnt seem like hes really a fan of the comics based on the fact that he seems to not really know/care who apocalypse, thats why I dont like Eisenberg for Lex incidentally because hes clearly just there for a pay cheque too.
