Anthony Mackie 'The Falcon' Reveals New Filming Locations For CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

It seems the events of Captain America: Civil War will span different countries as Anthony Mackie has talked very briefly about returning as the Falcon and where the Marvel sequel will be shooting.

When Anthony Mackie and Kevin Costner stopped by the B96 Chicago to promote their new film, Black or White, the former actor was asked about his return as Sam Wilson aka the Falcon in Captain America: Civil War. "We start shooting in April," Mackie said. "So, it's gonna be a lot of flying and fighting for about five months... and I'm not mad at all." Costner then asked where filming for the Marvel sequel will be taking place. "Puerto Rico, Berlin, and Atlanta," he replied. Unfortunately, that was all Anthony Mackie had said about Civil War during the video interview (below), but it's interesting to know the Marvel production will be on-location in Berlin, Germany. Especially since Cleveland, Ohio, had doubled for the country on The Avengers. What do you think?

Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chadwick Boseman, Frank Grillo, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie & Daniel Brühl, with appearances by Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Samuel L. Jackson expected. The film opens May 6, 2016

Looks like the Civil War of the MCU will be a global event. No wonder Black Panther gets caught up in everything.

Before Captain America I was never a fan of Anthony Mackie, I thought he was wooden and boring. After watching him in Winter Soldier I am now a huge fan. I mean he killed that role and was absolutely the perfect choice. Marvel is the best casting studio in the history of film, they do nothing but hit home run after home run.

To me, War implies two sides or divided, promote it as such. Make it Cap's Avengers vs Iron Man's Avengers. Give Cap a legit solo film later.

This is a great way to promote the movie for a "team-up" or "war" and I like it a lot, but not for a Cap centric movie.




(Then make it "Marvel's Infinity Wars" because it's Avengers AND Guardians of the Galaxy.)
