Very weird a TV spot would be coming out almost 6 months before the movie comes out. Usually those don't start coming until 1-2 months before the movie's release.

My guess is that the new footage indicated; is the small zoom-in to the Fantastic Four, when they are looking at that big blue light ascending to the sky. Which I guess is slightly new.

Right on. A minute-long teaser is the best way to judge the movie even when the first real trailer hasn't been released. I mean, the only blind spots we have towards judgment like that is the other hour and some or more time missing from the actual movie; it's not like that's important, right?

I'm still stunned how you all keep overestimating Nolan's influence over comic book movies. He makes good movies and left a mark on the industry before, but let's not forget Fox has been making X-Men movies before Nolan's Batman came out. And again, if you were all to read the interview with Trank, he said his influence came from David Cronenberg's The Fly.
