Friday, April 17, 2015, was the final day of filming for Deadpool on Vancouver's Georgia Viaduct which was closed off for two full weeks to accommodate the production. In addition to a visit from the city's mayor, the shoot also saw Ryan Reynolds (and his stunt double) back in full costume as the Merc with a Mouth, plus Ed Skrein as Ajax, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, as well as the motion-capture performer for Colossus, who's been identified as Andre Tricoteux.

Some cool photos and footage from the set that day might contain some pretty big spoilers, so don't read nor scroll down any further if you'd wish to stay spoiler-free. However, if you don't mind, one scene captured below shows Deadpool being dragged by and seemingly handcuffed to Colossus, alongside Negasonic Teenage Warhead, before the Merc with a Mouth tries to escape by possibly cutting off his own hand. Furthermore, another scene shows what appears to be a fatal conclusion to a sword battle between Deadpool and Ajax (stunt double). What do you think?

























Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Directed by Tim Miller, while starring Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), with Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand (Ellie Phimister), the much-hyped Deadpool is scheduled to open in theaters on February 12, 2016.

I'm really curious about the reason behind dropping Daniel Cudmore. He recently landed a huge role as Master Chief (although it didn't really test his acting skills) and his face was just seen in DOFP. Price shouldn't have been an issue for Cudmore either, so its pretty perplexing. And I seriously doubt Colossus is going to go through some emotional character arc in this flick that Cudmore couldn't handle.

@gulducati most likely the new universe, but using certain elements of X-Men Origins as a guiding point, IE it being set after Weapon X, references to Baraka Pool, etcetera

Man Ryan Reynolds is the luckiest M FER ever. He's been Van Wilder, he was Green Lantern, he done a sex scene with The Bullocks, and now he is hanging off the side of bridges as Deadpool!

Don't feel bad if you don't. Morrison made her and killed her in her first appearance I believe. Then Whedon brought her back but she was just an illusion from Emma's mind. She was never a huge player. She might be tho now that Fox is revamping her. You know Marvel might capitalize on her popularity.

It's Colossus. This film is following the script completely. From the bullet in his wrist, to the jumping off the bridge to take on the guys in SUV's, to the supporting characters, they're filming what was leaked years ago. It's tin man, alright.

@Unreal2k9 Most likely because Cudmore,mainly because of the script, sucked as Collosus. Their making Collosus the Hulk of the X-Verse so CGI was inevitable. I think CGI Collosus is the "fixed timeline" version along with this proper Deadpool.
