UPDATE: First Full SUICIDE SQUAD Trailer Leaks Online; Cast Assembles In New Promo Images
"Justice has a bad side," is the tagline of the first trailer for Suicide Squad which has just leaked online after being shown at San Diego Comic-Con, where the director and cast were all in attendance.
Though Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was certainly the highlight of the Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad also had a heavy presence. Before director David Ayer, and stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, Karen Fukuhara, Cara Delevingne, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje had all assembled on the stage, the very first visuals from the 2016 DC Comics adaptation were shown.
Now thanks to an Instagram user, IGN, and Flicks And the City, we have a low-quality snippet of the footage and a detailed description of its entirety. While you can barely see what happens in the Instagram video, you can actually hear Jared Leto's terrifying voice as the Joker. Anyhow, check out that snippet, the introduction of the ensemble cast, and the full footage description below.
UPDATE: Thanks to a Facebook user, watch a clear recording of the full Suicide Squad trailer!

The video opens with Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis, eating steak at a dinner table with some government types and discussing her plans to put together a group of bad guys to do some good. Waller says manipulating bad people is what she's good at. The scene transitions into Belle Reve Prison, where we see the villains in their cells, with Killer Croc tied to a gurney.
We see Harley Quinn in a Hannibal Lecter-style cage in the center of a large room, hanging upside down on a trapeze swing. When she spots Waller, she asks, "Are you the devil?" We get a look at the Suicide Squad assembling on the street following a massacre at a hospital, as well as scenes of Harley and Joker in a car chase with Batman on the roof. We don't get a complete look at Joker until the end, when he laughs and delivers the line, "I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to hurt you really, really bad."
Directed by David Ayer from his script, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang),
Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), with Raymond Olubawale (King Shark), Jay Hernandez, Ike Barinholtz, Jim Parrack, Adam Beach, and Scott Eastwood. The film releases on August 5, 2016!
