Jaimie Alexander Hints At THOR: RAGNAROK Teasers In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR?

Hit the jump and check out the latest from Lady Sif actress Jaimie Alexander as she discusses returning to the Asgardian warrior in Thor: Ragnarok, and she also hints that we will have "some stuff" about the 2017 movie teased in Captain America's third movie.

When L.A Times' Hero Complex spoke with Jaimie Alexander about her new NBC show Blindspot, she had also discussed her cinematic return as Lady Sif in Thor: Ragnarok. While the third solo outing for the God of Thunder doesn't hit theaters for over two years, the actress also implied there will be Ragnarok teasers, much like those in Avengers: Age of Ultron, in a 2016 Phase 3 movie.

"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don’t tell me certain things," said Jaimie Alexander when asked about Sif's big-screen return. "Because they know I’ll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can’t tell you what because I’ll get shot." About those Ragnarok teasers in Age of Ultron, Alexander said, "Yeah, there’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Avengers, Captai" will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films."

Although Chris Hemsworth is not reprising his Thor role in Captain America: Civil War as far as we know, the Mighty Avenger was presumed dead at one point in the "Civil War" comic book storyline. This led to Tony Stark creating a clone of the Asgardian with help from Hank Pym & Reed Richards, as well as  DNA that Stark had collected from a strand of Thor's hair. And eventually, the clone took on the name Ragnarok. That likely won't pan out in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but how do YOU think Captain America: Civil War (May 6, 2016) will tease Thor: Ragnarok (November 3, 2017)?

Thor 3 needs to focus on Darcy, Darcy's intern, and naked Selvig.

I agree, I would even go so far as to say that both Thor movies have some of the best individual scenes in the MCU, but both could've been more consistent in great quality, because the Loki subplot in the sequel was amazing, everything paled in comparison. Hopefully they get a director that shows the raw power of Thor as well, and even though action is my least favorite aspect of superhero movies, it would be great to get some really raw, grimy, and intense action beats in the film.

I want Thor 3 to be like the biggest surprise of Phase 3. Like nobody's expecting it but it will hit us hard.

Lackluster character, it'd be fun to make her Valkyrie.

Atone for your sins Marvel Studios and make Thor Ragnarok one of the best movies you ever produced! Expand his lore, focus on the cast that matters, forget about Earth and the useless interns and give Thor a buff for heaven sakes.

Yeah, and I will say the Thor films are one of the only films in the MCU that should actually be "dark and gritty"(Iron man 3 should've been darker as well, but thats about it, in my opinion). So hopefully there is a ton of weight behind this film, and depending on who gets involved in the project, the film could possibly one of the best that the MCU has to offer. Yeahhh, lets hope for that result.

I truly belive Thanos will team up with Loki and surtur in Ragnarok. He has to retrieve the tesseract and get the gods out of the way. Ragnarok is killing two birds with one stone. He rids himself of the asgardians as well as thor, one of the most powerful avengers.

@oNosferatuZodd1 Entirely doubtful. If it's anyone other than Hela Marvel dun goof'd.

She almost appeared in Age Of Ultron, likely cut from Thor's subplot or dropped altogether. She'll set Ragnarok in motion with the realms destroyed at the hands of Surtur. With Hela, I say it's entire possible and smart to make Sif Valkyrie.

Hela could be amalgamated a couple ways. Being Thanos love obsession- Death, or her and Amora into one character. Unless they somehow work into Loki having a child, but Amora being a valiant comrade is much better).

Marvel break killing their villain after one film she could appear in Infinity War.

Really hoping Thanos appears in Ragnarok. I think his inclusion, along with surtur who HAS to show up as well, would bring a weight to the Thor films that we've never had. Thor had a vision of the stones so he has to suspect and or investigate Thanos. I think thanos should show up in an either large or somewhat significant role. Maybe akin to Robert Redford in TWS.

They need to find a balance the light and bright stuff with the darker, more grounded stuff. Alan Taylor is very much an amateur director and you can see it, with a budget of around 170 mil he could have brought much more exciting cuts, edits, and choreography, so Marvel just needs to make sure that the guy they hire knows what the eff they're doing, technical-wise. Also, just talking about the Iron Man 3 thing, I think I laughed the most at that movie than all of the MCU, but at the same time it just felt like the focus of the movie overshadowing all their ideas, which sucks because the writing(with the exception of the Killian stuff) was great.
