First Teaser Trailer For DEADPOOL Has Been Classified

Ryan Reynolds already told us when we should expect the first trailer for the Deadpool movie to be released online, but we now have an official classification that indicates just how close we are, and it also reveals the teaser's rating and run-time. Check it out after the jump!

After the highly-praised first Deadpool footage was shown at San Diego Comic-Con and later leaked online earlier this month, leading man Ryan Reynolds had promised that we would have something official in three weeks. Well, it's been two weeks since then, so it should come as no surprise that the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated "hard-R" rated Marvel movie has been classified.

According to the handy Alberta Film Ratings website, the Deadpool "trailer A" will have a PG rating and a solid 2:24 running time. Therefore, we should be able to watch and over-analyze some high-definition visuals featuring the Merc with a Mouth in action in the coming days. This is just in time for Fox studio to begin the teaser trailer's theatrical run with the reboot of Marvel's First Family in Fantastic Four, which opens in theaters in just two weeks, on August 7, 2015. What do you think?

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Directed by Tim Miller, while starring Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), with Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand (Ellie Phimister), the much-hyped Deadpool is scheduled to open in theaters on February 12, 2016.

Man, we really got to go out and support this film though. They went through a lot with the studio to get it as close as they wanted to satisfy us, now we've got to do our part to prove the point they set to make in the first place.

I'm still surprised Fox had the balls to make this R rated knowing they're basically cutting their profits in half. Word of mouth will have to be great for this to be a hit. It's like this movie is an apology to the fans for all their shitty movies in the past.

Nothing about that trailer was kid-friendly unless you're talking about SuperCat's new iteration of the Hitler Youth.

Not gonna flop, a lot will depend on marketing- they have to get some funny Guardians-esque trailers out there to attract a light hearted audience

My best guess would be that Deadpool is a modest success but that the sequel will be PG-13 to try to maximize profits. But if it's a big success then maybe we get to see an R-Rated X-Force movie.
