IMAX Movies has just unveiled a new Iron Man 2 trailer, on their Youtube profile.

a few new shots in there. Glad to see some more scenes come to life, from the Iron Man 2 novel. This film is gonna be amazing.

Famous make-up guy, Allan A. Apone, whose credits include every movie Samuel L. Jackson has been involved in, has posted a pic of Samuel L. Jackson as the Director of SHIELD, Nick Fury.

One thing I noticed was the three scars, wonder what other hero could be responsible for that. But it seems there's a slight difference between the pic and what we've been seeing the latest Iron Man 2 trailers.

See the first two pics above from the Iron Man 2 trailer, next to the last pic from the first Iron Man. So it seems they decided to take the scars out, maybe because they couldn't think of a reason to have them there.

(Special thanks to RetroMan of SHH for original finding of Nick Fury pic)

Well, that sure looks like a Wolverine shaped scar but that's unlikely with the character being owned by Fox...pity! ;(

Awesome trailer though - I got the novelisation in the post today so I'll be staying up all night to read it!

They probably took it out because was it not Wolverine who gave him the cars in the Ultimate comic? Because if that's the case, they'll think fans will assume a wolverine cameo and stuff when we know that can't happen.

Folks,

Those scars didn't come from Wolverine. The space in between is too close together. If he had three scars across his whole face, then this would be a viable hypothesis. I'm thinking it was probably from a fight with a Skrull alien...or just a wild animal.

I didn't follow Marvel's ultimate universe comics so can someone tell me if Wolverine is responsible for Nick Fury's scars? That would open up some scenarios.
