While we've been getting plenty of set pics, including the the recent first look at Peter Sarsgaard in costume on the set of "Green Lantern, we've yet to see the film's star Ryan Reynolds suit up, until now thanks to MTV. Well hes not actually suited in costume, but suited up in the full motion-capture suit that will help render the actual costume in CGI.



Previously, "Green Lantern" co-writer and producer Greg Berlanti said the film's team was "on lockdown" about the look they're going for with the live-action Hal Jordan, though DC Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns seemed to confirm that Reynolds' costume will be more CGI than actual clothing.



DCMF: I guess this is one way, developing Super Hero movies, to keep the costume a secret, by never having it on set, but using CGI. Smart. I'm really hyped for this movie now, and can't wait to see the actual suit. What do you think?

Ya i can understand if you want to make the title entice the people on the site, but don't disappoint them with it. I was pyched to see him suited up, but that was a maajor cock tease.

I was opposed to the CG idea at first, but as long as the suit looks good on the screen, go for it.

The more I see of this the more pumped I get. I was never a huge Green Lanter fan - but Reynolds is an awesome Canadian boy - and this movie looks like it's going to shape up to be awesome.

viper@ maybe johan is just very passionate and excited about this film. kind of harsh to get on the guy for his love of gl, imo. i mean is it wrong that some us are a bit more passionate than others when it comes to these characters? i mean i thought that is why this website was set up for. for the passionate fans.
