IGN recently caught up with the actor, where after being notified of the rumor, shortly claimed...
"I've never heard of it"
Unsurprised by Cooper's response, the film is very early in development with the script due this Christmas. But don't have lack of faith in MovieHole's claim, as they only stated Warner Bros. were considering Cooper, and not exactly offering him the role. So one shouldn't expect him to know much about it - that's if hes telling the truth of course.
