While it's been long-believed, especially from the rumored list of trailer dates, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that superbowl spots for Captain America: The First Avenger, as well other Paramount pictures are guaranteed.

"Paramount will have the biggest studio presence during the Feb. 6 telecast, buying ad time to plug four films -- J.J. Abrams' alien-invasion pic Super 8, the threequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Marvel's superhero pics Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. All are high-priority "event" movies for the studio."

"Disney has bought time during the game for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, while Universal and DreamWorks' will plug the Daniel Craig-Harrison Ford sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens."

While teaser trailers for all the films listed above, sans Captain America: The First Avenger, have been unveiled, the ad for the Joe Johnston-directed film would provide the first look. Anyhow, what do you think?

Since Marvel and Disney are the same company now, doesn't that mean they'll be debuting 3 trailers?

Unfortunately if ben fatshitburger [rapistburger] and the shitsburgh stealers (spelling intended) go to the Super Bowl (God forbid and knock on wood) I probably won't watch it. So I guess I'll just have to wait, but we shall see this Sunday. GO JETS!

(P.S. - In case you're wondering, I have been found guilty and sentenced to a lifetime of misery being the most die hard Cleveland Browns fan you'll ever meet. Don't care. I love 'em no matter what. F*** THE STEELERS!)

@ninja: this is why the reboot will fail
1. hes supposed to be in high school but his best friend harry osborn wont be in the film WTF
2. the woman he eventually marries marry jane also wont be in the film again WTF
3. the bugle will be there but its editor and chief jameson wont be? WTFF(the second f is for flying)
4. that suit looks horrible, changing the original design was a mistake honestly it looks worse than the green lantern costume.
spiderman620
spiderman620 - 1/19/2011, 6:44 PM
sony is trying so hard to seperate this shitty reboot from the original triliogy that there makeing unnessesary and unforgivable changes so as a comic book fan i say.....EPIC FAIL!!!. the only good thing about this reboot was the addition of web shooters and thats not enough to hold an entire film of nothing but shit together, and also emma stone as gwen stacy? that chick is not even remotely hot she has a serious case of man-face.
spiderman620
spiderman620 - 1/19/2011, 6:46 PM
