Latest Spider-Man Set Images Show Threads Ripped in Action Stunt!

According to various tweets, as well the folks over at Holy Moly, who managed to snap the latest shots, Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot was shooting in Downtown LA last night. And while these images depict of the webslinger in the midst of a stunt, you can also see hes now torn through his threads. A bit odd-looking, check them out below.











While it's unclear whether what was filmed last night, was what caused to the suit to rip, Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, and Denis Leary, hitting the big screen July 3, in 3D.

I'm pretty sure that one rip at the shoulder isn't a plot device! But whatever. What is with these pics? First Ghost Rider and no Spider-Man! They are having far too much fun filming these movies:)

ok im gonna see the movie, but come on, this costume sucks. It sucks bad. Its actually ugly to me. I like GL costume over this one. And i think he's fighting this guy? idk but yeah those pics are Fag material lol

i hope the suit is going to be altered with cgi a bit.. otherwise it looks kinda stupid.

The 'eyes' are removable dude.Look again.In the first pics he has them in place then later on they've been removed.Probably for ventilation reasons :)
Not diggin the new suit.Held off on my opinion to give them a chance to impress me but every new pic makes me dislike it that little bit more.I'll still check out the movie and give it a chance though.It may look better on the big screen with proper lighting etc.

On the actual topic of the suit - remember how rubbish the stuntguy looked on the bike in captain america?

This guy is just a stuntman. The shots could just be a blur from a distance.
