With the latest adaptation being so highly-anticipated, Zack Snyder's Superman: Man Of Steel will need a fake title during filming. And now it's been revealed! Check it out!

Off the heels of confirmation of Warner Bros. shooting Superman: Man Of Steel partially in "Chi-Town" Chicago, a recent issue of Production Weekly reveals what seems to be to be the working title used to intentionally disguise the project during the process of filming. The production update lists:

“Superman - The Man Of Steel” (aka “Autumn Frost”)

While Warner Bros. set the working title “Magnus Rex” for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, Director Zack Snyder will begin Supes' production near-August. And so far starring Henry Cavill, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, Superman: Man Of Steel is slated for theaters mid-December, next year!

Also, check out the latest fan-art from Hobo95 of DeviantArt, whose fan-made Thor poster recognizably inspired an official one. Hes now created a descent look at Henry Cavill suited up, pictured right, go Here for the full resolution.

Screw it, just call it Man Of Steel. How would it have sounded to have Batman: The Dark Knight? The simpler the better. Remember TDK's working tile? Rory's First Kiss.

The plot of the superman trilogies i believe are:

the first movie:

THE MAN OF STEEL.

Superman learning who he is. Deciding whether he is clark or kal el.
showing superman as a vulnerable man and a reluctant hero.
enemy being ZOD. who is also a alien and tries to persuade him that he better then humans and that he is a god.

superman must choose between humans and Zod.
he chooses Humans.

message: Vulnerability, not knowing who he is. choice.

Villian : ZOD and small cameo by LEX LUTHER

The 2nd movies:

DOOMSDAY.

Superman is superman. He knows who he is but does not like being different. He is still vulnerable. he is still hesitant.
but someone who is strong then he is will make him have confront his inner demons and become who he is destined to be.
Doomsday the ultimate warrior by the end of the movie will fight superman.
and win. superman will die.

message: confrontation. make tough choices. become a man. will face death.
will be defeated.

things we all go through. choices. losing someone we love. etc

villian: DOOMSDAY and small cameo by LEX LUTHER

The 3rd Movie.

SUPERMAN LIVES

with the world hurting. after superman dies. the world moves on and slowly forgets about superman. and Lex Luther becomes more powerful. He controls alot of the country with greed and power.

Superman returns alive. but does not come out. he stays hidden. he feels he failed when he was defeated. when violence starts to spread he returns and the world rejoices. Lex does not like it and wants to kill superman once and for all.

message: greed. power. how the world needs hope. how the world easily forgets those who do good. how superman gives up and then finds the strength to be hero once more.

villian : LEX LUTHER

THATS WHAT I HEARD ARE THE TITLES OF THE THREE MOVIES.

SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL.

DOOMSDAY: THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN

SUPERMAN LIVES:

@HeyVanity- Yeah i didn't wanna be the first to say it but he does look dirty in that picture...rather scruffy.

I'm all for a more rough-edged Superman this time around. But he needs to be more clean-shaven I'd think than that picture shows.

So I just watched sucker punch tonight and I am officially worried about superman. Ya the graphics were cool but man the story and acting was bad. It makes me question snyders decision making. Also he really needs to tone down on the slow motion scenes he really goes overboard with them.

guys it's more realistic come on. It's not like that goddamn superman returns movie where superman after going almost to space, and coming back at full speed (airplane scene), and we see his completely untouched hair?, in the ariplane! What a bunch of bull...

I agree it looks rough, but may be he just had a kickass fight? Something we havent seen in so long? hello???

@afan. This is why I hate Smallville. "Vulnerable man and a reluctant hero?" "He is still hesitant??" "He stays hidden???"

No. No no no no. HELL NO!

The real Superman knows he has a job to do, he puts on the suit, rolls up his sleeves (in a manner of speaking), and does it in plain sight.

I really hope the whiny, emo, in the shadows Clark goes away with Smallville.

@LP4 + WellDrawn

"Rory's First Kiss" is name after one of Nolan kids.

Inception production title "Oliver's Arrow" was also named after his other son.

@LEEE777

thats a production title every films uses another title

Just one comment, Warner Bros. if by any chance you read these post. Do "Us" and "yourself" a favor, Please......Please...No Lex in this damn movie. We are tired of seeing the strongest being in the Universe fighting a mere mortal; hell batman's villains were stronger than Supes. Suggestions: Darkseid, Lobo, Doomsday, and even take Mr. Mxyzptlk. No more bald humans!!!

@Junito

u cant say that Lex needs to be in the movie no matter what. Superman needs to fight a Super powered villain but Lex needs to be in the Superman reboot. but they need to make him a minor villian or supporting character.

@PuyGuy It IS currently the title of the movie. And it'll remain the same, unless they decide to change it.
Stealthduck
Stealthduck - 3/27/2011, 8:49 AM
@ PuyGuy - I like the title 'Man of Steel' for a Superman film, but it feels like the title for a sequel. The formula for Batman seems to have worked (by worked I mean not too many negative fanboy comments seen. In my opinion, anyway!), the first film still incorporating the used/given hero name, then the subsequent films have other monikers/nicknames included. Familiarity will play a part.
Why not call it 'Big Blue', with a warning underneath: 'This Film Is Not About The Sea'?
JULEZ13
JULEZ13 - 3/27/2011, 8:56 AM
I think the official title should just simply be, "Superman."

"Man of Steel" would be a good title for the sequel.

Can't wait to see who's gonna play Lois Lane, then I'll really be excited about this movie.

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY you must have Chicago confused with Detroit. If you check stats you'd see that the crime in Chicago has actually gone down and it's not as bad as any other major city in the U.S. Anyways yeah they're supposedly heading to Plano to film, i've been through there and never thought of it as being Smallville-ish. It'll be interesting to see how they film it but that's the magic of Hollywood for ya.
