With highly-anticipated films such as this, rumors are emerge none-stop til official announcements. And now, according to The Tracking Board, via SlashFilm, a new addition to the developing cast of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises film may be Rescue Me star Daniel Sunjata. The initial report suggests verbatim:

UPDATE: Variety has confirmed Sunjata, plus specs on his role and two additional cast members.

Sunjata is “rumored to play an ‘important character to the story.’” Thanks for that wealth of information.

Credits opposite Rescue Me, Daniel Sunjata, 39, also starred in The Devil Wears Prada, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and ESPN's show The Bronx. And theres no further info on who Sunjata could be portraying, if true. What do you think?

He is a good actor and would make for a more true to the character Bane. While Hardy would make a perfect Hugo Strange.....

Honestly Hardy could play whoever the hell he wants lol that guy has range!

Sunjata will probably play someone from Banes past. Either his father or someone from the prison Bane was raised in. It only makes sense.

Probably because crispus allen is black not latino. Who knows who this person is playing, he might just be part of the crime family, assassin, or cop. He could be anyone.
