Actress Emma Stone, who portrays 'Gwen Stacy' in Sony's Marc Webb-directed reboot
The Amazing Spider-Man, recently briefly chatted with
E! Online praising her leading co-star Andrew Garfield, as well confirming filming coming to an end.
"We leave tomorrow for New York, we're doing exteriors in New York for a couple of weeks, so it'll be done in mid-May,' she continued before laughing, "So, yeah, it was only a six-month shoot."
"[Garfield] is so much fun, He's the coolest, the best. He's going to be amazing. I mean, he has to be—after all, it is called The Amazing Spider-Man."
The site further reports the actress "sweetly" reiterating she had to keep quiet when questioned of potential sequels, as well the fate of her character.
The Amazing Spider-Man focuses more on Peter Parker’s high school days and the development of his powers while navigating the troubles of a brainy geek in high school. And starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field, the films swings into theaters July 3, 2012 in 3D!
