Also with sightings of Emma Stone & Martin Sheen, check it out!

UPDATE: A new set photo via Emma-Stone.Org reveals a monitor of the Scene.
  • They're filming a rain scene right now--Peter and [Gwen] talk on his porch and she smacks him. Uh-oh. It's taken like ALL DAY.

  • Andrew Garfield and Martin Sheen are filming Spiderman on Fuller Pl and Prospect Avenue! AWESOME

  • Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker chatting with Uncle Ben at the Brooklyn Spider-Man set. Loving the glasses.

  • Can't get close enough 4 vid. Sad scene, [Gwen] cries & slaps [Peter] & he just looks broken.

  • A crane that makes rain. Apparently they're filming some Spiderman scenes outside my friend's place in Brooklyn

  • They're totally shooting spiderman right near my apartment, got to walk through the set and see andrew garfield and sheen on roof!

  • The Amazing Spider-Man focuses more on Peter Parker’s high school days and the development of his powers while navigating the troubles of a brainy geek in high school. The resemblance to The Spectacular Spider-Man is amazing. (Double Pun for me.) Just the scenery alone looks great. And Garfield looks really nerdy.

I know a lot of people are judging this film but I don't think it should be judged as harshly as it has been until we see a trailer, or something with some actual footage. What we've seen so far is merely snippets of the movie that are no where near the editing process.

Any one who is complaining about something small like his hair needs to get laid like now. I like the costume but I can see where people may have a problem with it. And I have to say Garfield will do soooo much better than Tobey Mcguire that man is one of the worst actors I've ever seen and his constant weird faces really took me out of the movie.

Garfield does look the part, and I'm sure he's going to be a good actor for the role.

But really, if this film in its action sequences doesn't give the feeling of freedom and power that the Raimi CGI-based Spidey gave, if it's really going to be based on cheapo 70s-style television stunts, and have that awful, awful suit, then it's just going to be a huge chunk of fail for me.

CBM needs 3 things: good script, good acting, and good CGI. The CGI is essential to give a superhuman, more-than-human feel to the character, it just cannot be done with old-skool fx. The whole reason for the current popularity of superhero films is because CGI has finally made it possible to translate that feeling of beyond-human power from the comics onto the big screen (after all, good script and acting were always possible before, and sometimes happened).

I for one think that Garfield will be just as good as Spiderman than Tobey was. Did you ever see the Social Network? Based on that film alone, I think Andrew is a much better actor and definitely looks the part. And again, for anyone judging this movie based on set pics and the costume, this film is still in the early stages! Editing is no where near done. It's like judging a book by it's rough draft, not even its cover. Let's wait for a trailer of some sorts to piss on this movie or change our minds.

Just watched Social Network last night, (i know, i'm a little late) and i gotta say, it totally sold me on Andrew Garfield as Spidey. this guy can act, is the right body type for the SSM/Ultimate thingy they're doing, and i think really respects and knows just how awesome a gig he got landing the role. The only problem i have is the suit, (big surprise), BUT I've only seen one "finished" pic of it and thats the only one i really like. I'm hoping it will look much better on film then on a shitty digital camera or someones cheap ass camcorder.

@valeriesghost I was thinking the same thing when I first watch The Social Network but then I found out what they were really doing with this film, so many faults and stupid decisions made from that stupid ass suit, to no J. J Jameson. Now Im just totally turn off of this movie.

Really want to see Andrew Garfield as Peter. He has the lanky Parker look down. And he looks very similar to the Peter in the Spectacular Spidey show. Not to mention he is a really really good actor. Social Network/Never Let me Go/Boy A all prove that he is really good at what he does.

@ DCMarvelFreshman- wow I actually hadn't noticed that! Cheers man! Even though the chances are small, I so hope that they've used Spectacular Spider-man tv series as a reference because it was correct on so many levels...
