UPDATE: The Dark Knight Rises Teaser To Appear With Harry Potter 7: Part 2?

With mountains of salt, recent posts suggest the first teaser for The Dark Knight Rises could appear in front of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Check it out!

Though sourced yet again from the double-dealing Internet Movie Database, a recent post suggest "something" regarding Christopher Nolan's much-awaited film The Dark Knight Rises, plausible due to Warner Bros. previous marketing methods.

I am a manager of a cinema. Today we got a list of upcoming trailers delivered to us and the 'Dark Knight Rises' teaser is listed to be with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on July 15th.

UPDATE: Another source via SHH is further claiming the above reports.
"Updated listings at Regal have TDKR teaser attached to Harry Potter. I dont have a link my buddy that works there texted me about it. Having worked at a Regal for 6 years there listings are usually pretty accurate not 100% but pretty close. Its not much but it does help confirm what people have been guessing on here for awhile"

What makes this plausible: Not to mention it's near TDKR's release date, but a year prior, which seems to be a marketing method itself. Well, back in May 2007, Ain't It Cool News received word that the official teaser for The Dark Knight (2008) was set to appear with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. With this leaked, Warner apparently decided to instead use The Simpson Movie to have the teaser, which leaked online immediately.

Of course, what may make this plausible could also make it inaccurate; a lucky guess. Therefore, take this with a grain of salt.

The Dark Knight Rises' story details are being kept underwraps. Although, the films stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, Michael Caine and possibly Alon Aboutboul, the film releases 20 July, 2012!

That'd be sweet if it was true. It'd probably just be something very similar to the TDK teaser, though.

Yeah, I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised about this, especially as they put the Green Lantern trailer with Deathly Hallows Part I.

I bet it'll have little to no footage. And it'll probably have the same chanting as on the site.

I remember a few months ago they said that The Amazing Spider-Man teaser would appear in front of the same film.
Though this seems more believable since there both WB.

If it IS identical in structure to the TDK teaser, it should end with Bane shouting "IMMA COMING TO BREAK YOU!!!!" as the Bat logo explodes.

@PaulRom
Yeah, I don't think it will be the same. If it is then that sounds a little cheesy. I'd rather him say softly "I will break him...".

Sounds Very Plausible...

Now I am wishing I liked Harry Potter so I could see it... oh well... Just have to wait for it to hit the net...

I'm pretty sure it'll be the exact same thing they show at SDCC '11, which takes place the week after Potter's release.

Instead of the Bat Symbol exploding- they should have it break in half...You don't need Bane to say anything.

The Dark Knight teaser did it's job. But the best teaser I had ever seen in my life was Batman Begins. I didn't even know what the movie was until the end of it.

That would nicely rhyme with the Dark Knight marketing.

PS. Am I looking too much into this or does this thing on the Bane picture look like a cat's eye?

If it was left by accident, why wasn't it corrected? It seems pretty easy to do.

@ GrimeKid - I was wondering the same thing,but I don't think it's a cats eye but there is something in it.

who knows with Nolan,he likes to play mind games with us so we should just play along with him:)

great news if it's true,most probably we'll see something like TDK teaser but still it will be cool :) that TDK joker dialogue was creepy and awesome :) let's see if Nolan can put up something like that again :)

@ dynamo

no sorry man,i'll have to disagree the dark knight teaser was shite.

i want to be teased at what i'm gonna see not what i'm gonna hear.

batman begins teaser was good,but personally i think this is the best teaser ever.

You're looking waaaay too into it. It's not like we don't know that Catwoman is in it already.

You know, Bruce Wayne and Harry Potter have a lot in common:

-Both orphans
-Have sidekicks who secretly like each other.
-Psycho villains
-Gary Oldman portrayed a supporting role in both franchises.

@ grimekid

could it just be a form of light source i.e a torch.

your saying it could be cats eyes.

so why has this cat got only one eye.
jazzman
jazzman - 5/22/2011, 8:02 AM
@GrimeKid

your reading to much into it. its just a light thats all not Catwoman lol.

@N

it make sense cause both are WB product.

@marvel72

Spider-Man teaser makes the film look hardcore but it was not like that in the movie at all. TDK tease was good not all teaser need to be the same.

@Lester

Teaser does not have to show u everything all the time it ment to tease you.
RunDTC
RunDTC - 5/22/2011, 8:02 AM
the thing about the Dark Knight teaser was that it had Joker's laugh. THAT is why people liked it so much.

for this possible upcoming teaser, it would be cool if it was just a black screen the whole time, with just a few thing said by Wayne, Alfred and Gordon, then a short pause. we then here Bane say "I'll will break you", followed by a large crack. end of trailer.

also, THIS is how you tease a movie:

@LEE- yes thats Bane!
Ryguy88
Ryguy88 - 5/22/2011, 8:07 AM
It'll probably be kind of like the one in '07 where you heard a voice over from Michael Caine.

Grimekid, why did you draw a penis in front of Bane?

Marvel72, at least the Dark Knight teaser released a bit of plot info, what did the Spiderman one do? reveal that Spiderman was going to be in it?
