Roughly one week from it's release, promotion is hitting heavy for Fox & Matthew Vaughn's well-recieved X-Men: First Class prequel. And with revealing footage pouring online more than ever, the latest clips via Joblo depict tons of mutant action. Potentially spoiler-y, check them out below.







X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men. Starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, and January Jones, the film releases June 3!

Its crazy to see some of this..the beach scenes were filmed almost directly across the street from my job on jekyll island..I was a extra as well.

OK, THEY SHOULD STOP W/THE CLIPS, SNIPS, AND SPOTS NOW.. SAVE SOME FOR THE THEATER FOX, DAMN! I THINK THEY'VE SHOWN LIKE 38 MINUTES OF FOOTAGE NOW. PROPBABLY 85% PERCENT OF THE ALL THE ACTION SCENES HAVE BEN SEEN NOW!! JUST SAYIN

So, Magneto. Born in Poland, spends time in Nazi Germany and then Israel. Ends up with Irish accent?

But then, am I imagining it or did McKellen veer towards Irish in X2: "too much iron in your blood..." etc.

lol, why would it have been great if the "real" first class were in it? They suck ass! I;m so sick of hearing this. With the exception of beast(who is in it) and maybe Marvel Girl those other 3 dick bags are probably some of the most tedious, boring and banal character in comic history. Yes, just imo, but I for one am GLAD they have Angel Salvadore instead of that preening pussy Worthington:)

Gonna have to agree on this one. Cyclops especially is the most one dimensional douche ever. This movie would have been lame if it played out the same as the "real" first class. People just like try to sound smart when they`re squawking on the bandwagon.

cyclops,iceman & angel are all superior characters & far more intresting than angel salvadore & darwin.

angel salvadore & darwin i had never heard of these z - listers until this movie,i had to go & look them up.

banshee is alright but i would of saved him for the sequel.

i'm glad you love the line up,but should also respect others why they dislike it.

Only if they give me valid reason for doing so. YOU never heard of Darwin or Salvadore so they suck right? Look, I didn't know em either, all I'm saying is that there should be more of a reason to use the original line up aside from "That's what they are SUPPOSED TO DO". Ass. They are suppose to make a good movie and it would seem that they succeeded. I can't believe that people still haven't gotten over the fact that they didn't make the actual, comic book first class, something they NEVER said they were going to do!

Have you ever actually read a First Class comic? The adventures of a self righteous douche and his lackeys. They suck.

I really wanted to believe in my husband to be Fassbender <3

@marvel72 Including Angel, Cyclops and Iceman would defeat the purpose a prequel. Since Angel joined in X3, Iceman in X1 and Cyclops wouldn't have been born duing the time First Class is set.

as i said before the originals would of been better if you ask me.

also you don't have to base it on the first class comic howabout x-men 1 from the 60s.

had the original five against magneto,that would of worked.

if marvel studio's was making this you would of got the original five plus the proper x-men uniforms.
