Today, it seems the lack of promotion for Marvel & Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger film has taken turn. Following recent promo images, two new tv spots recently aired during 'America's Got Talent.' Captured by yours truly, watch them below, one of which has two versions via Latino Review.






Captain America: The First Avenger focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull. Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving, the film releases July 22, 2011.

Definitely looking forward to this movie. Loving the whole "Heroes are made in America" thing. This movie has to have some U.S. patriotism no matter what.

Not liking the "Heroes Are Made In America" though... Seems like that could easily turn off several other foreign countries :/

I'm pretty sure they won't be showing that one in other countries. I mean, if they changed the title to be more world-friendly, making a trailer like that would null the point.

note to producers:

If you want people stoked for this film you have to show present day Captain America clips along with WWII clips. I will get friggin excited and mainstream America will get intrigued. Do it. now. period.

Speaking as an Aussie who loves comic book movies but isnt a big comic reader, I'm looking forward to Cap but mostly just because he's such a big part of the Avengers, and I'm heaps hyped for that (Whedon won't let us down). Although from what I've gathered from other Aussies on the topic, he's been viewed as a pretty lame addition to the likes of Hulk, Thor and Iron Man. Hope this movie proves me wrong and helps makes the Avengers as EPIC as I know it'll be :D
