Posted in low quality earlier today, the 3rd official television ad for Marvel & Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger film has found it's way online in High-definition. Featuring new action-packed footage snippets, closing with the Avenger's iconic shield throw, check out crisp HD tv spot below.















Captain America: The First Avenger focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull. Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving, the film releases July 22, 2011.

Man I thought this would never happen because of all the other fail attemps in the past. It looks great I think it's best.. the captain america film will close out the summer..maybe next time it will be release near the fourth of july.

everything looks good until he turns into cap, then it goes down hill after that he just looks cheesey! im trying realy hard to like this but its not working for me. the trailer hasnt sold the movie. i will like to see cappy do somthing cool but thers nothing exciting about the trailer. i showed this to most my friends, family, and co-workers n they all laugh, i hope it turns out to be good.

Thor was amazing. X-Men: First Class was a triumph. Green Lantern will be an intergalactic extravaganza. Transformers 3 will.... er...

Anyway, Captain America: TFA will be extraordinary.

When I was in my teens, we had the Hulk TV movies featuring Daredevil and Thor on a $15,000 budget, Fantastic Four was a B-Movie produced by a porn production company on par with the worst films ever attempted, Justic League was a movie so bad that it was never even released on DVD, and Captain America was some ugly guy who stole Volkswagens.
