While everyone's aware, principal photography for Christopher Nolan's third and final 'Batman' installment,
The Dark Knight Rises, is well underway in the U.K.. And with filming currently taking place at Wollaton Hall, which'll serve as the new Wayne Manor, a few vague reports from the set have been revealed, via
Twitter. But first, a casting call was revealed yesterday calling for extras for a supposed "Gotham" football game, though further details were unsurprisingly unknown. However, thanks to
On Location Vacation and
Be In A Movie, more details regarding
that shoot have been revealed as well.
On August 6, The Dark Knight Rises will be filming a scene in Pittsburgh involving a football game between the Gotham Rogues and the Rapid City Monuments and they need fans to cheer on these teams for the shot! Participants will get to be a part of the action which will include stunts, explosions and special effects. And even though this isn’t a paid gig, everyone will get free food throughout the day and a chance to win great raffle prizes between takes!
Being that chaos struck for both party scenes of
Batman Begins and
The Dark Knight, I wonder what'll be in store this time around. Anyhow, other reports suggest Joseph Gordon-Levitt was spotted at the Wollaton Hall set. What do you think?
The Dark Knight Rises' story details are being kept underwraps. Although, the films stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, Michael Caine and possibly Alon Aboutboul, the film releases 20 July, 2012!
