With an official teaser being released in the coming days, filming for the highly-anticipated film, The Dark Knight Rises is well underway. And the latest video and batch of images from the set depict a destructive scene at the Cardington Airfield, featuring 'Bane' actor Tom Hardy, and possibly Christian Bale, check out the images below and long-distance footage lower.

















The Dark Knight Rises' story details are being kept underwraps. Although, the films stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, Michael Caine, Alon Aboutboul, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, the film releases 20 July, 2012!

I have a feeling Nolan is going to make a perfect trilogy.

Batman Begins remains my favorite comic book movie to date. I can't wait to see how it ends.

Nolan hasn't disappointed me yet.

this is good. i want more of the epic feel from batman begins (like oh crap, the city's getting destroyed) that was absent from the dark knight (which was an amazing movie, but i liked begins better).

You don't have to have dark skin to be latino (Spain, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Cuba are good examples). I really do hope Bane is of latin ethnicity in this film.
