Receiving confirmation last week that it was attached to this Friday's release of Captain America: The First Avenger, it's no surprise eager Spidey fans have captured and posted the first teaser trailer for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man reboot. While it's expected to be officially released this week, watch a shaky-cam version below!

The Amazing Spider-Man focuses more on Peter Parker’s high school days and the development of his powers while navigating the troubles of a brainy geek in high school. And starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field, the films swings into theaters July 3, 2012 in 3D!

Reminded me so much of Mirror's Edge during the last bit of the trailer. I'm pumped to see the movie, but at the same time I can't help but to feel like it's so soon to retell the origin! I feel like it was only yesterday when I saw Toby Maguire doing the same exact thing during that little transformation scene LOL

have to admit, the first person view was cool. but otherwise, meh. Avengers trailer was cooler. And that pains me because I love spider-man. I like avengers too, but, still.

The tone of it is really interesting. Obviously inspired by Nolans Batman flicks.

But still seems too soon. When he said "We all have secrets" in his voice over in my head I just heard "With great power, comes great responsibility".

I totally freaked out when I saw this on the front page, did not expect it.

It looks great. The tone is perfect. The premise is excited frankly.

That CGI New York skyline sequence needs some improvement when it's next to those great shots on their RED EPIC.

Bring on the Lizard!

idk what to think about it this. it looks great, i guess i was just hoping to see more spidey.. and does he get bit on his neck??
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 7/19/2011, 1:26 AM
@DelDawn yeah the tone does seem different. But in a bad way. Like in a unspider-manish way. As in not very spider-man. More dark. Which is NOT spider-man. That's batman. lol.

Looks much better than I thought it would. I actually think they can do this movie completely different than the first 3.

@jerbear- ya because a trailer wont put stupid shit like spidey wearing sunglasses and a beanie while showing off to people or dunking on basketball jock.

AWESOME!

Well but it's not an attic lab apparently, and GARFIELD doesn't look so much PARKER in a very few shots, but rest are awesome!

Bring on the HD, can't see some scenes tho.

First-person looks pretty cool, should be AMAZING in 3D!

; )
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 7/19/2011, 1:35 AM
@Intruder if this is the spidey movie you have been waiting for, you're telling us that you wanted it to have a darker nolan batman like tone and a suit that doesn't stay true to the comics? That's not very spider-manish! And I am a hardcore spidey fan. Anyway, I'm not going to make any conclusions until I see the film. But I don't like what I see. But, if you like it, hey, that's fine. Your opinion man. Just like it's mine that I don't care for it.

I want to see it with good quality, I looks ok but I have to say that Raimy's Spiderman looked better 10 years ago than this one. It's up to the Lizard to make this movie, if the villain looks crappy, visually this movie will flop. The origin story bores me to death, I hope they will pass it fast and build a new story.
