Solo HULK Movie Broached Again Via Mark Ruffalo!

Solo HULK Movie Broached Again Via Mark Ruffalo!

Further implying that the Hulk may get another solo venture, thanks to his praised Mark Ruffalo-inspired debut in Marvel's The Avengers, another hint unveils via the actor himself.

With four films dated for the next two years, one of which remains undisclosed, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has repeatedly disregarded taking another stab at a solo movie for the Incredible Hulk. However, days prior to Marvel's The Avengers U.S. release and record-shattering box office results, Marvel Entertainment's President of Consumer Products, Paul Gitter gave the notion that the studio was revising their gameplan.

Going as far as saying we could see another solo outing in 2015, (the same year Feige has already promised a "big cinematic event"), Gitter added that the changed plans was due to the Green Goliath tracking very well in audience popularity; thanks to his revised Mark Ruffalo-inspired role in Marvel's The Avengers.

Further increasing that possibility, Bryan Alexander of USA Today recently questioned the solo idea once more, in which Ruffalo then replied, "The producers have sort of asked me about it in some drunken nights in our European press tour, where I would like to see a new movie go."

There is that old saying, "a drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts." Although we shouldn't expect this Hulk venture for the undisclosed 2014 movie, evidently, it could move into production before The Avengers assembly for the sequel; depending on what this so-called "big cinematic event" will be. What do you think?

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

I disagree. It all boils down to getting the right production team on the job. A solo Hulk film can work with the right people involved.

Make Joss their consultant for this film since he was the one who made an awesome Hulk

Not bad for a TV director huh?

Hulk was awesome in the Avengers. Ruffalo himself though i feel was hit and miss, his acting kinda bugged me in the beginning of the film, the scene with black widow mainly. i did like him though when they were all arguing amongst each other.

solo Hulk would be cool but i would rather see other properties get developed first, mainly black panther and dr strange! oh and Inhumans would be sick.

I want to see Hulk vs. The Leader on screen.

And 2015 is probably Guardians of the Galaxy.

Cinematic event? I think it all points to what they are going to build up in the sequels. I think they may go the way of Infinity Gauntlet. But back to Hulk...I would so love to see a sequel to Incredible Hulk. They already teased The Leader so have a good story with Hulk facing off against him.

It makes sense:
2013 Iron Man and Thor
2014 Cap and Hulk
2015 Avengers 2, we get sequels to all characters from faze 1 and don't have to wait 5 years for another Avengers movie, I know, that doesn't leave space for Ant-Man and Dr Strange, but I don't think many people(except comic fans) would see them. They should introduce them in another way, who sees AntMan making 300mil?

I like how in the Avengers they tear up the whole MO for the two previous Hulk movies of Banner being all stuck in a hidey-hole and resistant to his powers with one line... "It's easy, I'm always angry..." I was getting sick of him whining about himself for TWO WHOLE FILMS. That said, he's always been my favorite, and I think his solo outings have been OK but could still be great.

I really hope they do a Hulk Film in 2015. Mark Ruffolo not only played the role of Bruce Banner awesomely, but he blew me away with playing the Hulk too. The Avengers gives to me, the best portrayal of the Hulk and I hope they keep it up in a solo Hulk film.

They could introduce Pym particles in Iron Man, then Ant-man and Wasp in the next Avengers, but I'd prefer Black Panther, he's a badass mofo, but god I hope they make a Hulk movie, he deserves another chance to be done correctly

I'd like to see Hulk vs. The Leader with The Leader taking.g control of Hulk at some point, needing Iron Man to step in with Hulk Buster armor before Bruce gets control back and takes The Leader out... Just my geek-boy fantasy for Hulk 2, but hey...

Either way, it would make for a budge success and I think a little more than a simple cameo will be nice in the MCU at this point.

Ok so I would like to see Mandarin in Iron man 3, Red skull return in Cap 2, a new hulk movie where Red Hulk comes into play bringing back general Ross, and for Thor 2 it could be Thanos going after Loki. Then have all of the villains team together to bring a modified masters of evil to the screen. The avengers vs red skull, red hulk, mandarin, and Thanos? Amazing. Make red hulk a wild card and by the end you could have a red hulk/green hulk team up of epic proportions. My 2 cents. Sorry for bad grammar I'm on a stupid iPhone.

As soon as Feige said "big cinematic event", I instantly knew it was not an Avengers sequel. They will want to introduce more character's before the sequel to the Avengers, leaving a little breathing time for all. Since we're getting a sequel to Iron Man and Thor, and Cap a year later. With a secret project on the side. Too soon for a sequel, unless it evolves around Ant-man and Ultron.

Also by having all of those villains it would not require much back story. Have the leader be the villain in hulk 2 but have him corrupt general Ross and use the generals anger to experiment on him and make him the red hulk, the ultimate tool to bring down hulk. Have an epic battle where the hulk takes down the leader but let's the general get away because he knows the general is Betty's dad and doesn't want to hurt her. This brings into question hulks decision making and the other avengers question wether he can do what is right in avengers 2. Meanwhile in iron man 3, iron man defeats mandarin and sheild takes him into custody. In Thor 2 you have Thanos go after Loki, and succeed. Rather than kill Loki he uses him as a tool to infiltrate sheild and free the mandarin. As payment for his release he agrees to work with Thanos to conquer earth. red skull would be the hardest one to convince people to accept. It has been several years obviously since the events in captain America and convincing people he is still in good health could be difficult. They could just cop out and say that the serum he got slowed the aging process. Anyway I would love to see the dynamic of an unstable alliance play out on screen with all te villains. Have them pretty much beat the Avengers but have there own evil take them down in the end. They start to fight eachother etc. have the general see the evil and realize he may not like banner but he needs to work with him to save not only betty but mankind. I have gotten really carried away here but it just seems so damn awesome in my mind.

I'm really surprised that some of you think that doc strange deserves a movie right after this avengers movie, so nobody believes that black panther deserves a tie in movie ? So lets just forget the fact that cap shield is made from the material that's from black panthers country? Or is it that you all think that he's just not interesting enough for a movie? Any body pushing for doc strange is clearly a D&D fan and that's why your going so H.A.M. for this movie to be made #imjussaying
