Following the reports and unexpected sightings of the Iron Patriot armor on the Wilmington set of Iron Man 3, WTDD have revealed additional photos from the shoot. Offering more views of the battlesuit, reportedly donned by actor James Badge Dale (Eric Savin), in addition to uniformed "Serviceman" extras, check them out!















Described as a “technological crisis thriller,” set in the world of international war, arms & terror, Marvel Studios' “Iron Man 3” stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Andy Lau, Ashley Hamilton, James Badge Dale, with Sir Ben Kingsley and Jon Favreau. Shane Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) takes over directorial duties from Jon Favreau, who helmed the first two “Iron Man” films. Principal photography will occur primarily in North Carolina and China. And “Iron Man 3” is set for release in May 3, 2013.

Just gets better for me. Had no idea we'd get IP this soon. We are a step closer to.... SUPERHERO REGISTRATION!!! Maybe the military confiscated Rhodey's suit... Therefore, no War Machine in this. And this proves that Marvel is fine (and has plenty) of characters to use for their films. X-Men, F4, Spider-Man are puny (incredibly puny) to what they're planning. Let Fox and Sony knock themselves out.
