The BLACK PANTHER Reportedly Marvel Studios' Untitled 2014 Movie

Following the "big tease," Marvel Studios' untitled film, that'll accompany the Captain America sequel in 2014, is reportedly none other than T'Challa, better known as the Black Panther.

According to Latino Review, who've offered various reliable scoops in the past, especially involving Marvel movies, the studios' untitled flick that'll be released in 2014, along with the Captain America sequel, is the live-action debut of Wakanda's very own T'Challa; AKA the Black Panther. Although this big news was expected to announced at this year's San Diego Comic-Con convention, the site says verbatim:

THE BLACK PANTHER is going to headline his own film! How do I know? Let’s say I got it from FOUR different trusted sources. Last year, it was reported that Marvel hired Mark Bailey to pen the script and I hear the script is fantastic.

For those unfamiliar, via Marvel, T'Challa is heir to the centuries-old ruling dynasty of the African kingdom Wakanda, and ritual leader of its Panther Clan. His mother died in childbirth, earning him the enduring hatred of his adopted elder brother, Hunter, who also resented T'Challa for supplanting him in the royal household. Hunter would become the White Wolf, leader of the Hatut Zeraze (Dogs of War), the Wakandan secret police. T'Challa's senses and physical attributes have been enhanced to superhuman levels by the heart-shaped herb.

There have been Easter eggs alluding to the character's existence in Iron Man 2 and Thor. And considering the big-screen adaptation of T'Challa falls into 'phase two' of Marvel's cinematic universe, it's very well possible he could appear in Marvel's The Avengers inevitable sequel. And while many actors have expressed interest in the role, including Michael Jai White, Djimon Hounsou & Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who do you think fits?

Sounds like a shit idea. Wakanda is a pretty dull setting compared to what Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy have to offer.

There's never been 4 Marvel movies in one year, so it'll probably be pushed to 2015 (unless if one of the others are pushed back)

Now they just need to select the right T'Challa. Let's remember, there are other black actors out there other than the typical selections of Will Smith, Terry Crews, MJW, etc. But I'm stoked about this news!!

it be sweet if the heart shaped herb was the basis for the super soldier formula in the MCU.

Cool! Like others, I am not too familiar outside of the basics, but I like the idea of a very different setting for a new Marvel movie character and the lush jungles and African visuals would be quite a treat to see realized on the big screen.
I'm very interested in people's interpretations of what a realistic Marvel Cinematic Universe Black Panther costume would look like

If you know anything about black panther, he is actually one of the smartest men in the marvel u, rivaling tony stark and doctor doom, due to his knowledge on tech and mysticism. the kinds of things being created now and possibly being used by tony stark in the mcu is vibranium which helped wakanda become tecnologically advanced possibly centuries ago, if you dont know about him look him up, amazing character.
