Okay Hugh is in fantastic shape (I'm a little more cut though ;-)). Anyway I was kind of hoping he was going to get MASSIVE like Aronofsky wanted when he was originally going to be the director. He made a great point that from the wide angle shots from a distance he looked a little skinny (for Wolverine). I'm going to give this movie a real shot. I know Origins would be shit from the get go, but this I'm actually quite optimistic about.

Nice! The dude is looking sick, wish he stuck to Afronsky's 4 Chicken Breasts a day, Broccoli, protein drinks, etc. God, that would've been the BOMB!

Speaking of which, I hope this doesn't... I hate what Quesada did to the Berserker, but I can't stay mad, It's Wolverine!

Thought he was supposed to be gaining weight for this. Not losing it. Muscle weight that is.

I don't understand some of the comments. He looks in great shape.

I'm really excited for this film. A good Wolverine film is long over due.

He is in better shape than 98% of the general population.

People still complain lol

Shut up and go do a few push ups.

@RidiculousFanBoyDemands - He can't change who he is, his shape is like that. He's cut and that's how his body gets. What can be done is to use camera angles and/or effects to make him (look) bulkier onscreen. I guess that's what aronofsky was going to do anyway.

Judging from the top two images, he looks just fine to me. Not sure where the skinny comments are coming from. It looks to me like he put a little muscle on.

rubbish78@ lol I feel you.

No Hardy and please no wolf boy. If not Jackman then it should be Joe Manganiello but I'm happy with Jackman.

As Aronofsky's name was attached to this I don't think the script or Cting will be this movies problem. The main problem with the last one was the script and it could have been good because the first half of the film was actually really good. It's after he got the adamantium that shit got bad. One of the best parts about the movie was Ryan Reynolds Deadpool in the begining before his character went to shit.

Pfffft! Get a bulky dude, someone who can snarl aggresively, someone who has a good jaw line that would look menancing sticking out of a lycra rubber mask...

Plus, he likes Puppies!

It would be awesome if somewhere in the movie, Logan dons a mask similar to the one his comic book counter part wears. It could be a samurai type mask or they can explain it as something else, BUT I FREAKIN' WANT TO SEE WOLVERINE THIS TIME, NOT JUST LOGAN!!!!

Here should be the next Wolverine movie, straight out of the comics.

The issue where Wolverine goes back to Canada and battles the Wendigo who has captured a family of campers, and Logan has to save the mother and infant as the rest have been eaten.

Can't remember if it was an X-Men or Alpha Flight issue.

Gritty and comic worthy.

Epic stuff.

Agree with Natrag.

We need a shorter, burlier, hairier, costumed up Wolverine, and would like to see a full on berserker rage !

thatiscrazy - 8/2/2012, 9:27 AM
Thats wolverine!? I thought wolverine was supposed to be a 5'3 300 pounds bad ass with a chip on his shoulder not a 6'3 200 pound pretty boy pretending to be a bad ass. We need some one with some Tru Grit. this guy is is a softy and has no screen presence. We need someone built like a running back not a wide receiver. come on yall, this dude is not wolverine. we need some one who is more like a Tom Hardy but not Tom Hardy, some one who can play a good "anti hero" not a "hero hero" LAME
Screw FOX! where is Marvel at!!!!! Lets get the guy from Leverage or somethin!
GUNSMITH

HE NEEDS THE MASK AND SUIT, I ABSOLUTELY AGREE. HE'S DEALING WITH NINJAS WITH MASKS AND SUITS..A SAMURAI IN SILVER WITH A MASK AND SUIT,JUST LIKE A POLICEMAN OR A FIREFIGHTER YOU DRESS FOR THE JOB, WOLVERINE NEEDS TO DRESS FOR THE JOB..MAYBE IT SEEMS OUTLANDISH AND DOESN'T FIT INTO THE NORM, BUT NINJAS WEARING MASKS TO CREATE A SENSE OF INTIMIDATION AND SUPERNATURALISM TO HELP THEM IN DISTILLING FEAR IN THEIR ENEMIES SEEMS LIKE A GOOD IDEA TO BE USED AGAINST THEM. BESIDES, WOLVERINE LIKES TO CHILL AT THE BAR AND HAVE 100 DRINKS, I DON'T THINK HE WANTS TO BE RECOGNIZED AND GET BEAT OVER THE HEAD WITH AN ALUMINUM BAT,

YEAH SURE..MUTANT AND PROUD..BUT WITH AN ATTITUDE LIKE WOLVERINES, IT'S MORE LEAVE ME ALONE SO I CAN JUST HAVE MY BEER IN PEACE..A MASK HELPS TO GET THAT PEACE...BUISNESS/PLEASURE...YOU CAN HAVE BOTH...BUT DRESS THE PART. AGREED?

This should just be a reboot instead of a sequel cause orgins was complete garbage. And here's why the tone should have been dark, deadpool should have gotten his costume, his claws looked to fake and there should have been blood but this movie seems to spend more time in wwii then orgins we just want a wolverine we know and love
