Stan Lee Teases Cameo In THOR: THE DARK WORLD

Confirming his much-expected cameo in Marvel Studios' latest flick that has begun filming, Thor: The Dark World, make the jump and check out what legendary comic book writer-editor Stan Lee says!

While the legendary comic book creator has already filmed his inevitable cameo in Marvel Studios' first “Phase 2” installment, Iron Man 3, Stan Lee recently confirmed his next cameo in Thor: The Dark World, according to the folks from Nuke the Fridge.

Now that the Alan Taylor-directed sequel has started filming earlier this week, ‘The Man’ revealed during a Q&A at the Comikaze Expo that he knows what the part will involve. And although he didn't detail the cameo for obvious reasons, Lee did, however, tease it.

“You have never seen anything like it,” Stan Lee said. “neither have I. Do not miss it!”

Considering Thor and The Avengers are Marvel Studios' only feature films that explore otherworldly territory, and Stan Lee's cameos in both were on earth, perhaps his cameo in Thor: The Dark World will take place on one of the nine realms. What do you think?

Exploring Thor's relationship with the Asgardian all-father Odin, as well earthbound companion Jane Foster, “Thor: The Dark World” follows the God of Thunder to The Nine Realms beyond Asgard and earth. And as his evil half-brother, Loki, returns for Asgardian justice, a new threat rises. Also rejoining Thor are his fellow Asgardians, Lady Sif, gatekeeper Heimdall and Warriors Three, as they encounter mythical Norse creatures among evildoers.

“Thor: The Dark World” stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Stevenson, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Rene Russo, with Alice Krige & Kat Dennings. And Alan Taylor (“Game of Thrones”) takes over directorial duties from Kenneth Branagh, who helmed the first “Thor” film. From a screenplay by Don Payne and Robert Rodat, “Thor: The Dark World” is set for release on November 8, 2013.

I like his Iron Man cameos the best. Noticable but not blatant. The Cap/Thor/Avengers ones are just a bit too "HEY IT'S STAN LEE".

I think it would be cool if they ever put The Watcher in a film if he was played by Stan Lee. That way its like all his cameos are actually the watcher witnessing those events.

I've been saying for awhile now that Stan Lee should be the Watcher. It would be the ultimate cameo and the ultimate way to give his presence in all the movies meaning rather than have them just be funny cameos.

I absolutely love Stan's cameos, even my friend who doesnt like reading comics but loves comic book movies, he loves Stan's cameos and always looks out for Stan

I hope Stan is around for a long time to come, at least long enough to cameo in all of Phase 2!

I also love his ridiculous rants on youtube! lol

@CaptainCool

Youre in the minority when you say that

@JatevinM
Perfect reason for all his cameos

@nid3

Youre easily distracted if you let that take you out of the movie, ffs

If Stan was too, sadly pass, I wouldn't know what to do with my self. Unless they started to CGI his cameos with someone who sounds like Stan. But that'd never have the same feel to it.

Stan Lee should play his character from marvel comics. THE ONE ABOVE ALL. I would love to see that in the movie a gold glowing Stan Lee saying he is the One Above All the creator of all things.

Oh boy, here come the cbm hipsters!! "The cameos were cool once but now they seem old. I'm becoming too much of a film artisan to appreciate these cameos. You've probably never heard of my favorite genre of film cameos. Someone hand me a PBR, while I grease up my mustache and ride my Victorian bicycle to Hobby Lobby."
