Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, & is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

I'm more interested in all those suits visible in the background artwork. They look too good for just toy designs...

@santoanderson I agree. I wanted to make the packaging the highlight of the article. I really hope we get a Hall of Armor like that in the movie. It reminds of the Hall featured in the animated Ultimate Avengers movie.

$20.00 and no articulation in at least the elbows? No thanks. Armor looks awesome, though. And I guess this means that they will definitely call Rhodey "Iron Patriot".

the 19.99 isn't for these figures, it's for the avengers hulk figure that used to occupy the shelf.

although for 10-inch, 3-battery, light-shinin' sound-blastin' 2-battle-mode thingies like these, $19.99 doesn't seem high anyway.

I was still hoping that they were going to call this film "Iron Man 3: Electric Boogaloo". It would have been fun to see Iron Man and the Mandarin poppin' and locking for the fate of the world.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really tempted to buy the Iron Man one...

I just think that would look really cool sitting on my shelf.

@MistressDeath They did do an awesome job with the packaging. Especially the Hall of Armor background.

@RyGoR Yah, I did. The one I'm trying to figure out is the suit on the bottom row all the way to the right. There's a lot going on with that armor.

@loki "Break dancing skills not included." :P

Looks like it has as much articulation as a bottle of shampoo.

Seems kind of early to start putting toys on shelves. Then again, merchandising is what Disney loves to do.

Suit needs a bowtie and a pullstring that says "Did I do that?"

Too bad that there's no articulation. They do look good however.
