Just last week, House of Lies actor Don Cheadle revealed that he would soon take part in re-shoots for Marvel's first highly-anticipated ‘Phase Two’ chapter, Iron Man 3. And details have now emerged providing shooting locations in Hollywood, dates as well as what the scene(s) will entail and even camera angles that are being aimed for. According to Hollywood Orchid Suites, the Shane Black-directed production plans to shoot near the Hotel on January 21, involving “wide-angled shots from cranes positioned high overhead ‘to capture the full scope, color and liveliness of Hollywood’ while they ‘blow up’ Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.” The historic theater was just renamed TCL Chinese Theatre after its naming rights were bought by TCL Group, who just happens to be Marvel's marketing partner for Iron Man 3. Product placement anyone? Anyhow, the Facebook post continues, “There will be flashes of light, debris being propelled out of the courtyard towards the street and about 30 cars driving by with obligatory fender benders. The shoot will cause street closures on Hollywood Blvd., between Highland Ave. and Orange Dr., Highland Ave. and McCadden Pl., beginning on Mon., January 21, 7:00 p.m. through Tues., January 22, 4:00 a.m.”

Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, & is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

So, the chinese theater is Mandrains new hideout? Makes sense, seeing as he's not Chinese but "a melting pot of religions".

So, this must be Iron Man's last stand before he receives the Extremis to save his life. I like it! :)

If I didn't know better... that exposed neck of his in the suit would be his weakest spot in the armor. Better not let any villian's see that.

I could care less what the armor looks like as long as this movie is amazing I will be happy.

This'll probobaly be a fight in the middle of the movie, before Stark gets Extremis. I hope the final battle is at Mandarin's palace. And I hope Mandarin doesn't die so he can return as a member if the Master of Evil in Avengers 2.
