In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question ‘Why am I here?’ Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. Top 5 things I'm excited to see in Man of Steel in order...

1.) Michael Shannon as Zod. He's going to be the best villain of this year, next year or many YEARS to come in any comicbook/sci-fi/action movie. Mark my words.

2.) How Amy Adams plays Lois Lane. Like her Fighter character or more lady like?


3.) How Zack Snyder handles the action/CGI scenes. I know that's what Snyder does best, but I want him to push the envelope and go all out.

4.) Hans Zimmer's theme. I want to hear it, it's not easy recreating a theme like the Williams theme, many will hate it solely because it's not John Williams' "I am Superman", but I'm sure Zimmer is up to the task.

5.) FInally, Henry's Clark/Superman.


I know this should be higher, but Henry is the weakest actor in the troupe. I'm not expecting much from him, I'm just hoping it's not as wooden as Welling and Routh.

@JaketheSuperguy: I'm curious to see all those things too, but you have obviously never seen Cavill in Tudors. That guy doesn't even HAVE TO act, he is just automatically Superman. Everyone will see what I mean after watching this film. My only concern for Cavill is his American accent.

I like the cover design.... but the lighting is NOT helping that suit AT ALL!!

I like the suit, but in this cover the suit looks plastic in texture and the yellow in the shield is almost completely gone.... It looks like... dare I say it.... The Nicholas Cage Superman! :O OHHHH NOOOO!!!

Henry might not be the best Superman when compared to Christopher Reeves but I think, Amy Adams might be the best Lois Lane. She does have the original hair color down. lol

Don't get me wrong, I don't want her to look like a whore or a slutty school girl. She can still look professional and wear her skirt a tad shorter...

And wtf is up with the skirt?? Who wears those thick ass skirts these days!? Give the girl some nice ass Express dress pants! I love those!!

The clothes makes her look older.

@ Julez - Senortia Bella, I know Henry can pull of charming with the best of them, but when he's on screen with the likes of Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Amy Adams and so on, he's going to be out performed.

Just look at Thor, Hemsworth looked pathetic in comparison to Hiddleston and Hopkins.


And I disagree, Amy's skirt is fine. She's a reporter, she's not going to the club. Though if you want to wear short skirts, please do....and post them if you please.
