After director Bryan Singer took to Twitter to, yet again, flaunt new additions to the ever-growing cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Deadline has now confirmed one of them to be Fan Bingbing. In addition, the infamous site also confirms the Iron Man 3 actress will play Clarice Ferguson, better known as the unstable mutant, Blink. Though she didn’t take part in the Days of Future Past comic book story arc (and isn’t the only one), the character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men (1994) and has the ability to teleport. Anyhow, Fan Bingbing, 31, is joining Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Daniel Cudmore & Booboo Stewart, while X-Men: Days of Future Past starts filming in Montreal soon and releases on July 18, 2014!

Blink damn that brings back the wacky hijinks of the exiles crazy ass series. If I remember Blink was a teleporter wouldn't be surprised if they up her powers or something use her as the time machine device instead.

blink was introduced in age of apocalypse.one of the best new characters in that series,along with x-man nate grey,holocaust & the redesign of sunfire.

I agree with you bro, I want it to stay true with the two of them going back to the past to warn the X-Men of the alternate future while Storm, Colossus, Rouge and other traditional X-Men fight off the Sentinels in the alternate future.

there were rumors that Apocalypse was the villain for DOFP, so maybe it's a DOFP + Age of Apocalypse mashup movie. Seems very ambitious.

@IronHood iceman is returning from this movie, dont know about angel, jean and scott are both dead in one timeline and not born in another so it's highy unlikely that they will be in this movie as main or supporting characters

@Ocelot Just like the All New X-Men comic right now. There younger versions can be alive in another timeline & if the past X-Men is meeting the present I say the younger past selves (& especially the original First class) can meet the future X-Men. Also, if Scott & Jean are both dead then why is Stewart coming back as Xavier?
