The Twilight Saga’s Booboo Stewart was revealed last week as the newest addition to the cast of Bryan Singer’s anticipated X-Men “inbetweenquel,” Days of Future Past. While his character is speculated to be the mutant Forge, the actor made an effort to keep us guessing when Clevver Movies spoke with him recently. Playing coy about what he knows, check out the video below!

“It's just a dream come true, really; I can't even explain the feeling that I have for this, it's incredible. I don't know anything [that I can share] about my character. I can't say anything, but I wish I could shout it. Yes, you will see [the result my work-out] in the movie. I look forward to working with Bryan Singer; I got to hang out with him for a few days...seriously a cool guy. [Singer calling the movie an inbetweenquel] is a really neat way to connect the [original X-Men trilogy and First Class]. It'll be really interesting to see how it all comes together.”

Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days of Future Past will unite Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Fan Bingbing, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Daniel Cudmore, with Ellen Page & Booboo Stewart. Filming soon in Montreal soon, the film releases July 18, 2014!

Younger version of Forge probably, the movies taking place in the 70's, so the vietnam war might play part in it then you could have Forge as a young soldier who gets recruited by Professor X. Totally spitballing here because I remember Forge's backstory included him being a soldier in Vietnam. But who the [frick] knows honestly theres no point in speculating what the story is going to be for any of the x-men movies. I just hope its good.

@FreakingIntelligentRobertGriffin the same reason Banshee was a teenager? they don't give a [frick] about being accurate. Seriously were you off planet when all of the X-men movies or as you so eloquently called it foxmen released.

In the ultimate universe Forge is a teenager and looks very similar to this actor.

Why does he *have* to be playing a character who was native American in the comics? He might be Cannonball or something.

If this movie is as good as First Class, I'll be satisfied. That said, There's definitely room for improvement upon FC...

He's also of Japanese descent. He could be playing Sunfire. Wasn't this very site reporting on Fox looking at Asian actors for a superhero role not too long ago? Sunfire's really the only Asian character in the X-Men that's a boy.

And yeah, it's either an X-Men Evo style teen Forge (possibly the 70's version) or we'll actually see Thunderbird. Given the necessity to help explain some of the wacky mechanics of time travel and Sentinels, I suspect the Forge angle supplementing Hank's big brain might be the way they're going.

He fits Thunderbird much more! come on. His look screams native american.

And Forge should be an adult, on the apocalyptic future, not a teenager.

so really hope he is the former. Would be a great nod to the Second Genesis.

I know most fans dont care about secondary x-men from the 60's and 70's, but to me would be awesome to see the past team on this sequel including Beast, Banshee, Sunfire, Thunderbird, Havok and Polaris.

We have seen the big names in three movies already, and 8 of them will appear on the future scenes, so lets bring some new blood!

And if they are mutants from the early 70's comics, Why not?
