Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. IDK why people keep complaining about TV Spots. EVERY major movie does this. Watch: MOS, Pacific Rim, The Wolverine, and etc. are going to have an ass of TV spots. Also, if you're complaining up all the TV spots, DON'T WATCH THEM.

Yeah I avoid these like the plague. There's nothing worse than having a movie spoiled by to many TV spots/clips.

@scmitty They're not technically from the comics, but they're based off a character called Mallen from the Extremis storyline who takes this virus that gives him super strength, speed, agility, and the ability to shoot electricity and breathe fire which is probably why they're glowing orange.

@blackandyellow....Tony doesn't get the extremis, he has a chip in his arm and brain that allows him to control the armours with his mind, if Tony got the extremis version of this film, he would be glowing orange :)

Hey, I can't blame them for marketing the shit out of this film. You want more of these flicks being made? They got to make the dough. How do you do this? You market it! Any way you can. But you know, they could just not put any TV spots on television or the internet and not release a trailer that tells anyone what the movie is about and maybe not even make posters and I am pretty sure people will come see the movie right? Come on people. You guys can't have your cake and eat it too. DOnt watch the spot if you dont want it spoiled. Hell, even with all the clips and the trailers for Avengers we only got a Taste of the awesomeness for that movie. I am going to bet since The Wolverine has had only one trailer so far and very little in the TV spot department and some really crappy posters it will BOMB at the box office. Seriously guys, learn about a technique called Marketing... Must be a scary time to be a filmmaker in the internet age man, they can see everyones comments. Boy, woulda sucked if the Internet had been around during Donners Superman or Burtons Batman, everyone would be calling them shit movies and acting like trolls. Jesus Christ.

@Number1FlashFan So true about the internet existing back then. Anyone can voice their thoughts and complaints to the world in this day and age thanks to the internet.

Hell, I bet if the internet existed as far back as the 30's, there would be people online hating on movies like Gone with the Wind, Jaws, The Godfather, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Raiders, etc. at the time of their releases.

There is a reason Disney is king of the hill. Big time summer movie blockbusters call for big time marketing. They spent millions to make it. Now you have to sell the shit out of it. I'm sure if some of you dudes on here had a chance to make a $150 million plus movie, none of you would complain about too many ads. It's the difference between people who make a lot of money, and the guys on a keyboard at home complaining about the guys who make a lot money.
